This role offers a strong mix of technical accounting, and cross functional collaboration in a stable manufacturing environment where accuracy, curiosity, and continuous improvement are valued. Relocation Assistance is available.\nResponsibilities\nOwn key components of the month end close, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations\nReconcile, validate, and record monthly credit card spending\nWork with broader accounting team to own and reconcile monthly inter-company transactions\nOwn sales and use tax filings, record prepayments, and resolve outstanding filings with states\nReconcile balance sheet accounts monthly for audit readiness\nSupport internal and external audits by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and supporting compliance with GAAP, manufacturing regulations, and internal controls\nField ad-hoc reporting and requests and other responsibilities as assigned or required\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and streamline accounting workflows\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field\n4 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting\nStrong knowledge of GAAP\nConfidence and intermediate efficiency working in Excel and ERP systems with the ability to analyze and interpret data\nA detail-oriented mindset paired with the ability to see the bigger picture\nStrong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with accounting and non-finance partners\nNice to Have\nCPA certification or active pursuit of CPA licensure\nKnowledge of cost accounting and/or inventory accounting\nExperience in manufacturing environments\nExperience with Infor or similar manufacturing ERP systems\nExperience working closely with sales, plant, or operational teams\nLet’s Build the Future Together\nAt ERMCO, your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your impact is real.
