This role collaborates with sales, operations, supply chain, and engineering to develop and execute supply planning strategies that support business objectives.\nThis individual will work with internal stakeholders across the network to consolidate and analyze supply data sets in support of establishing common goals and requirements while holding ERMCO Enterprise performance paramount.\nThis could include researching industry trends, performing market analysis and present strategic recommendations and related Key Performance Indicators.\nThis individual should be comfortable speaking and delivering presentations to internal business teams as well as having business acumen. The Supply Planner role offers exposure to a vast knowledge of the inner workings and operations of the premier distribution transformer manufacturer in North America.\nThis position is onsite at our 7001 Pinecrest Road Raleigh, North Carolina 27613 location.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and maintain supply plans to ensure product availability in line with demand forecasts.\nCoordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to balance production capacity, inventory, and customer requirements.\nParticipate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, including analysis to support business decisions.\nConduct internal and external data analysis and make recommendations on planning parameters to establish inventory policies and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.\nMaintain accurate data within planning systems (e.g., ERP, MRP, or APS tools), including safety stock levels and item parameters.\nWork closely with Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and suppliers to manage forecasts, lead times, and replenishment strategies.\nMonitor supply chain performance metrics, identify issues and risks, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nPrepare and present supply planning reports to management as required.\nSupport new product introductions, discontinuations, and promotions with effective supply plans.\nUse ERP and inventory management systems to track supply plans and generate reports.\nMaintain accurate records and documentation for audits and analysis.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.\nISM or APICS certification preferred.\n3-5 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, or inventory management.\nExperience working in a complex, multi-site, and/or multi-ERP environment is preferred. (Transitioning to one ERP, Infor LN, in the near future.)\nExperience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) practices is preferred.\nExperience with business systems and/or ERP implementation is preferred.\nInfor LN experience is a plus.\nStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook, are required.\nExperience with SQL databases, including building custom queries for production and inventory metrics, inventory management, and S&OP.\nProficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and adhere to deadlines.\nStrong financial skills and expertise, including optimizing inventory carrying costs and working capital.\nAbility to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional teams.\nKnowledge of supply chain principles, inventory optimization, and replenishment strategies is preferred.\nExperience with continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, and process automation.\nMust be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, independent work environment with limited supervision.\nMust be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands of the position.\nAbility to travel up to 10%.\nLet’s Build the Future Together\nAt ERMCO, your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your impact is real.
