Secure Access manages a portfolio of in-office technologies including physical access, mobile credentials, secure print and scan, and digital lockers. These services ensure EY people can securely access buildings, devices, and equipment with minimal friction, while meeting global security and compliance standards.\nThe Opportunity\nWe are seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and detail-oriented Application and SQL Database Support Engineer to join the EY Secure Access team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Secure Access solutions, ensuring service stability and operational efficiency. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, support teams, and external vendors. The candidate should be willing to work in rotational shifts.\nAs part of a team of highly skilled and professional engineers, you will operate within a complex global environment, collaborating with other technical teams on ongoing projects and delivered services. The role requires the ability to work effectively in a technically challenging environment while understanding, following, and continuously improving workflows and processes.\nYour Key Responsibilities:\nOver 5+ years of relevant experience of working in an enterprise environment.\nDevelop and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).\nWrite and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.\nCreate and manage batch scripts and PowerShell scripts for automation tasks.\nUtilize SQL Server Management Studio for database management and performance tuning.\nDesign and develop reports using Power BI Report Builder to meet business requirements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.\nTroubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.\nDocument processes and maintain data quality standards.\nMonitor, log, and prioritize incidents based on severity and business requirements.\nPerform application deployment and configuration in server environments.\nCollaborate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure system reliability, accuracy, and performance.\nKnowledge and skills Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.\nProven experience in SQL and database management.\nStrong knowledge of SSIS for data integration.\nProficiency in batch scripting and PowerShell.\nFamiliarity with SQL Server Management Studio and Visual Studio.\nExperience with Power Bi Report Builder for report development.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and teamwork abilities.\nExperience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS) (Optional)\nKnowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices (Optional)\nPersonal profile/skills\nDemonstrated ability to work credibly with senior stakeholders up to Partnership level\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences\nComfortable operating in global, matrixed organizations across multiple cultures and time zones\nDecisive, outcomes-driven, and able to take high personal ownership of complex problem spaces\nExperience managing vendors, contracts, and externally delivered services\nPassion for improving user experience while balancing security, compliance, and operational realities\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously\nCustomer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail\nHigh integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgement\nWhat we offer you\nAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
