We go beyond strategy and provide end to end design, build and implementation of real-life data environments and have some of the best architects, project managers, business analysts, data scientists, big data engineers, developers, and consultants in the region.\nWe are seeking an AWS Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms on Amazon Web Services. This role focuses on transforming raw data into trusted, analytics-ready datasets to support reporting, insights, and advanced analytics use cases.\nYour key responsibilities\nDesign and develop end-to-end data pipelines (batch and near-real-time) \nIngest data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, applications, third-party systems) \nTransform, clean, and curate data for analytics and reporting use cases \nBuild and manage data lakes and warehouses using S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift \nDevelop ETL/ELT workflows using Glue, Lambda, and orchestration tools \nEnsure data quality, reliability, and scalability of pipelines \nOptimize data models, partitioning, and query performance \nImprove pipeline efficiency and manage cloud cost usage \nMonitor data jobs and resolve failures proactively \nImplement data access controls using IAM \nSupport encryption, data lineage, and governance standards \nEnsure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements \nWork closely with Data Analysts to deliver analytics-ready datasets \nPartner with Data Scientists to support ML and advanced analytics needs \nCollaborate with Cloud/Platform Engineers on infrastructure best practices \nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nMinimally 3 years' experience in data engineering (AWS) \nBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field \nStrong experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift) \nProficiency in SQL and Python \nExperience building and maintaining production data pipelines \nUnderstanding of data modelling (star/snowflake schemas) \nIdeally, you’ll also have\nStreaming experience (Kinesis, Kafka) \nWorkflow orchestration (Airflow, Step Functions) \nInfrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation \nExposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight) \nWhat we look for\nHighly motivated individuals with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry.\nAn effective communicator, you’ll be a confident leader equipped with strong people management skills and a genuine passion to make things happen in a dynamic organization.\nWhat working at EY offers\nEY offers a competitive remuneration package where you’ll be rewarded for your individual and team performance.
