You are a driven workplace services professional who enjoys working in tandem with your colleagues while striving to understand and anticipate customers’ needs to exceed expectations. Your key responsibilities also include:\nMeeting preparation: Coordinate meeting room bookings with various teams and stakeholders, room set up, tear down/clean up, including coordination with the catering team\nGreeting visitors: Receive & welcome visitors to the office in a professional, courteous manner ensuring excellent customer’s experience\nIncoming calls: Answer queries and directs calls\nSecurity badges: Maintain and track all visitors and temporary building and/or office security badges\nElectronic Visitor Log: Check visitors in & out, providing the appropriate security badge if needed, and informing appropriate EY staff of their arrival\nLight housekeeping: wiping down counters, maintaining reception area\nEquipment management: Understand and operate office equipment, place service calls as needed\nReception Reference Manual: Refer to and update reception manual as needed\nServe as the backup liaison for managing GTA Event Tickets, ensuring seamless coordination in the absence of the primary responsible individual.\nSupport Across Workplace Services: Cross-trained to assist in various areas such as the mailroom, security desk, and taking on a broader reception duty, to maintain seamless coverage and operational flexibility.\nOverseeing the EY Brand Boutique: Responsible for managing purchase orders and maintaining a professional and engaging customer experience.\nOvertime required as needed\nSkills and attributes for success\nCommitted to contributing to a strong team culture to ensure success\nDevelop and maintain relationships to efficiently leverage expertise\nSound judgement regarding confidential and sensitive matters Aptitude to differentiate when to act independently or team with others\nHighly adaptable and always ready to tackle new priorities or unexpected situations with ease.\nQuick-thinking and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.\nMotivated to grow, open to feedback, and eager to expand knowledge and skills.\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nExceptional client service experience\nStrong oral communication skills, including active listening\n\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nReception experience\nProfessional services firm experience\nPost-secondary education\nWhat we offer\nAt EY, our Total Rewards package supports our commitment to creating a leading people culture - built on high-performance teaming - where everyone can achieve their potential and contribute to building a better working world for our people, our clients and our communities.
