This is a hands-on engineering role for someone passionate about cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code, automation, security, and platform engineering.\nYou will play a key role in building and enhancing Azure Landing Zones, implementing cloud governance, developing CI/CD pipelines, and driving Azure best practices across security, reliability, operational excellence, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate is capable of assessing existing environments and proactively recommending improvements to cloud architecture, automation, and security.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).\nBuild and enhance Azure Landing Zones, management group hierarchies, subscription governance, and platform foundations.\nImplement Azure governance controls using Azure Policy, RBAC, Management Groups, and Policy as Code.\nAnalyze existing Azure environments and recommend improvements across security, scalability, reliability, performance, and cost management.\nIntegrate security controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle following DevSecOps principles.\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar automation platforms.\nSupport cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including rehosting, re-platforming, and cloud-native transformations.\nManage Terraform modules, remote state management, reusable infrastructure patterns, and deployment standards.\nImplement monitoring, observability, logging, and operational controls using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related services.\nCollaborate with security, networking, platform, and application teams to establish Azure cloud best practices.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMicrosoft Certified:\nAzure DevOps Engineer Expert\nAzure Solutions Architect Expert\nAzure Security Engineer Associate\nExperience with Azure Landing Zone Accelerator implementations.\nExperience with Spacelift, Terraform Cloud, or other IaC orchestration platforms.\nExperience with:\nAzure Virtual WAN\nExpressRoute\nAzure Firewall Premium\nPrivate DNS Resolver\nDefender for Cloud\nMicrosoft Sentinel\nAKS\nExperience operating in regulated enterprise environments.\nExposure to AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.\nStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including:\nVirtual Networks (VNet)\nAzure Virtual Machines\nAzure Storage\nAzure Key Vault\nAzure App Services\nAzure Monitor\nAzure Log Analytics\nAzure DNS\nAzure Private Endpoints\nAzure RBAC and Entra ID integration\nProven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.\nExperience designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-scale Azure governance.\nStrong understanding of Azure Management Groups, Azure Policy, subscription vending, and governance frameworks.\nExperience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.\nExperience supporting Azure migration and modernization projects.\nStrong knowledge of Azure security services and best practices, including:\nMicrosoft Defender for Cloud\nAzure Key Vault\nManaged Identities\nPrivate Link\nNetwork Security Groups\nJust-In-Time Access\nZero Trust principles\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to review existing environments and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMicrosoft certifications such as:\nAzure DevOps Engineer Expert\nAzure Solutions Architect Expert\nAzure Security Engineer Associate\nAzure Administrator Associate\nExperience with Azure Landing Zone (ALZ) implementations.\nExperience with Spacelift or other Infrastructure as Code orchestration platforms.\nKnowledge of Policy as Code, compliance automation, and governance frameworks.\nExperience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Azure security monitoring solutions.\nContainerization and orchestration experience, including:\nDocker\nKubernetes\nAzure Kubernetes Service (AKS)\nExperience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP).\nSkills and Attributes for Success\nPassion for cloud technologies, automation, and infrastructure engineering.\nStrong DevSecOps mindset with a focus on security by design.\nAbility to identify inefficiencies and propose practical, scalable solutions.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nContinuous learning mindset and commitment to cloud best practices.\nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional and globally distributed teams.\nNice to Have\nExperience with Azure Firewall Premium, Private DNS, Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, and enterprise networking.\nExperience implementing centralized logging and monitoring architectures.\nExperience with FinOps and Azure cost optimization initiatives.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark (MCSB), Landing Zone accelerators, and enterprise governance frameworks.\nExperience supporting regulated or highly controlled enterprise environments.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe are looking for an engineer who enjoys building secure, scalable cloud platforms and who can combine technical expertise with innovation and continuous improvement.
