This role is a part of the Enterprise Technology CBS Solutions Delivery Team and partners closely with Product Managers in Technology Enablement, and cross-functional business teams such as Clients & Industries (C&I), Talent, Alumni and Communications.\nA major responsibility is alignment with Data Architecture teams to build a data-driven, AI-enabled future. The architect ensures that MarTech platforms, integrations, identity systems, taxonomies, and data models support scalable analytics, personalisation, automation, and responsible AI adoption.\nYour key responsibilities\nDefine and maintain the BMC MarTech architecture strategy and vision\nDefine MarTech architectural standards, reusable patterns, and reference architectures\nShape multi-year roadmaps with Product Managers and cross-functional business leaders\nTranslate strategic business needs into future-state capability models and architectures\nAct as the architectural connector across BMC, ET, C&I, Talent, Alumni, and Communications\nEnsure interoperability and shared experience frameworks across business functions\nReduce duplication and promote enterprise platform and standards reuse\nProduce solution options with pros/cons, costs, risks, technical debt, and compliance (infoSec, GCO, data)\nCollaborate with Data Architecture teams to design AI-ready data models, taxonomies, and metadata structures.\nEnsure MarTech systems integrate effectively with enterprise data lakes, CDPs, analytics platforms, and identity systems.\nAssess emerging technologies and evaluate platform/vendor options with Product Management teams\nInfluence investment decisions, business cases, and sourcing strategies\nSupport design assurance and enterprise governance forums\nPromote API-first, event-driven, modular, and composable architecture principles\nChampion performance, resilience, observability, accessibility, and global scalability\nCommunicate complex architectural concepts in clear, business-focused language\nServe as a trusted advisor on MarTech strategy, innovation, and platform evolution\nSkills and attributes for success\nDeep knowledge of MarTech ecosystems: CRM, CDP, CMS, automation, analytics, identity & consent\nStrong architectural modelling capabilities (business, data, application, technology)\nStrong understanding of enterprise data strategy, data governance, and AI-enablement\nExperience designing integrations across multiple enterprise platforms\nExcellent communication, leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills\nExposure to Data Architecture or AI/ML platform design.\nExperience with Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce, CDPs, DAM, or similar ecosystems\nArchitecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF), cloud certifications\nTechnologies and Tools\nMarTech & AdTech platforms (Adobe, DSP’s)\nAPI-led, ESB, and event-driven integration\nCDP, CMS, CRM analytics suites (Adobe, Salesforce, Microsoft)\nCloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)\nArchitecture tools (Lucidchart, LeanIX, ArchiMate)\nWhat we offer\nWe offer the opportunity to shape the future of BMC’s enterprise technology landscape, with significant influence across ET, C&I, Talent, Alumni, and Communications.
