As a member of the Security Technology Services (STS) team, the cloud security architect brings strategy to fruition through the creation and delivery of architectural artifacts, lead solution development efforts and provide cloud development defense consulting service to project teams. The successful candidate will lead proof-of-concept efforts to finalize technology selection and fit into EY environment.\nYour key responsibilities\nDrive the successful delivery of Cloud Apps Security Solutions, Application and workflow integrated security and RISK Management solutions\nNetwork with stakeholders, Policy Compliance and Certification teams, Security Certification and Consulting teams across the information security organization to drive development of enterprise scaled solutions.\nWork with Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, leverage design principles and targets, while providing input into program direction as needed.\nTranslate business needsinto technical requirements, capabilities, and formulation ofsolutions, while identifying risks, dependencies, financial impacts, and the risk profile in the technical solution.\nDrive proof-of-concept, design, and implementation activities from an architectural perspective.\nDevelop and maintain solution architecture documents and other artifacts to guide planning, design, and implement the proposed solution\nPresent subject matter to program / project teams, governance forums and other audiences as needed.\nCompile technology findings and recommendations for leadership decisions.\nStay abreast of industry trends, perform in-depth research and be a continuous learner\nEstablish & maintain a network of stakeholders from various organizations in IT and security\nTravel requirements < 10%\nSkills and attributes for success\n·Deep expertise in GRC, Technology Risk, Cybersecurity Risk, and Enterprise Risk Management.\n·Strong hands-on development experience in Azure microservices, cloud-native applications, and enterprise integrations.\n·Advanced Archer development, customization, workflow automation, and platform administration expertise.\n·Proven experience integrating Archer, ServiceNow, Azure, and security platforms using APIs and automation frameworks.\n·Expertise in risk and control assessments, compliance management, issue remediation, and mitigation planning.\n·Strong background in application security, security architecture, data architecture, security analytics, and threat intelligence.\n·Proficient with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Data Lake, Machine Learning, and Power BI.\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nDegree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience\n12+ years of experience in the Information Technology field\n5+ years of architecture experience, including solution architecture\n3+ years working with Enterprise Security architecture space\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nSecurity certification such as CISSP or CISM, Azure\nTOGAF and/or SABSA architecture framework\nWhat we look for\nHave experience developing detailed security and infrastructure architectures\nHave a working knowledge of Cloud technology including DevOps, data architecture, data security, and application \nBe well versed & educated in common Information Security practices and the CISSP domains \nBe able to leverage knowledge to influence the speed and direction of projects\nBe able to consider the variety of options available and recommend the best approach or solution, weighing the benefits and detractors of each\nPossess a delivery-focused mindset for speed to market\nBe able to think broadly in terms of overall project approach and show adaptability as customer ask or leadership direction shifts\nBe able to research and come up to speed quickly on new technology areas\nBe able to aggressively network, establish relationships, and come up to speed on complex global technology landscapes\nDeep critical thinking skills demonstrating analytical and systematic approach to problem solving\nExcellent written & verbal communication skills, including preparation & delivery of presentations\nGood judgment, tact, and decision-making ability\nAbility to deal with ambiguity and change, and exercise appropriate time management to meet objectives\nWhat we offer\nAs part of this role, you will work in a highly coordinated, globally diverse team with the opportunity and tools to grow, develop and drive your career forward.
