You will work closely with both business and technology stakeholders to define platform architecture, data models and integration patterns , ensuring that data is reliable, governed and fit for purpose. These platforms will enable trusted, high-quality data across the organization, for reporting, analytics and operational decision-making.\nThis role offers the opportunity to shape strategic data platforms that underpin transformation programmes and long-term data capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign enterprise data architecture and data platforms, with a focus on data acquisition, integration, transformation, master data management, metadata and lineage\nLead the definition of data models, integration patterns, transformation logic and platform architecture across analytical and operational use cases\nDefine and guide data strategy\nGather and prioritise business and data requirements Define data models, integration and transformation strategies\nEnsure alignment with governance, lineage and audit requirements\nEngage stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities\nWork with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions\nSkills and Attributes\nBachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field\n5+ years of experience in data architecture and data modelling\nAbility to translate business requirements into scalable and practical data architecture solutions\nStrong understanding of data architecture patterns (data lake, warehouse, lakehouse, mesh)\nExperience designing enterprise data platforms on cloud environments such as Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks Familiarity with ETL, data pipelines and SQL\nStrong knowledge of data modelling, integration and transformation techniques\nExperience aligning architecture to governance, lineage and auditability requirements\nAnalytical/problem-solving ability\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills\nCertifications (optional)\nMicrosoft certifications on Data Engineering / Fabric\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect\nDAMA CDMP\nDatabricks certification\nThis position requires the candidate to work onsite at our office location\nWhat we offer\nAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
