Successful candidates will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to build reliable data pipelines, enable data-driven insights, and support enterprise data transformation initiatives.\nYour key responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes across cloud data platforms.\n\nDevelop and optimize data models, transformations, and workflows using Python and SQL.\n\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and reporting teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.\n\nTranslate business requirements into technical specifications and data engineering solutions.\n\nEnsure data is structured and accessible for analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption.\n\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of data pipelines and storage solutions.\n\nContribute to data quality, governance, and engineering best practices.\n\nSupport or lead requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and process documentation activities\n\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\nExperience in data engineering, data integration, data warehousing, or related disciplines.\n\nHands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory (ADF).\n\nProficiency in Python and SQL.\n\nExperience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines.\n\nExperience engaging stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.\n\nUnderstanding of data modelling and cloud-based data platforms.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nExperience in business analysis, including process documentation and requirements management.\nGood to have:\nExperience with Databricks, Snowflake, and/or Power BI.\nExperience working within Microsoft Azure cloud environments.\nExperience supporting or leading enterprise-scale data platform implementations.\nExperience mentoring team members or contributing to technical best practices.\nEY is building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society and the planet, while building trust in capital markets.\nEnabled by data, AI and advanced technology, EY teams help clients shape the future with confidence and develop answers for the most pressing issues of today and tomorrow.\nEY teams work across a full spectrum of services in assurance, consulting, tax, strategy and transactions.
