You translate business ambitions into practical solutions, bringing together stakeholders across business, technology, and data to drive sustainable change.\nYour new job | About your main responsibilities\nLead the design and delivery of data products across their full lifecycle, from ideation through to deployment and continuous improvement.\nDefine and implement data product frameworks, including operating models, governance structures, and lifecycle management.\nDrive the adoption of data product thinking (e.g. data as a product, domain-driven design, self-service infrastructure and federated governance) across client organisations.\nEnsure data products are discoverable, reusable, and trusted, with clear metadata, lineage, quality standards, and access policies through your knowledge of the implementation and or usage of data governance tooling.\nWork closely with data engineering, architecture, and governance teams to design scalable and future-ready data solutions.\nFacilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to align business, data, and technology teams on priorities, design, and value delivery.\nContribute to business development by shaping proposals, defining reusable frameworks and approaches, and presenting data product concepts to senior stakeholders.\nDrive EY’s data governance and data product thought leadership go-to-market activities, building communities and knowledge sharing around these topics.\nYour new team | About your colleagues and the office\nOur Amsterdam office is located at the Zuidas: a bustling area full of companies. Collaboration takes on a new meaning in our Wavespace, a high-tech environment that connects clients and colleagues across the globe.\nYour skills and strengths | About your unique contribution\nHave 6+ years of relevant experience in data architecture, data engineering, data governance, or data product management.\nHave experience in a client-facing role in a consultancy firm.\nDemonstrate strong understanding of data product concepts, including lifecycle management, data contracts, and value-driven design.\nHave experience working with enterprise data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS) and modern data architecture.\nHave experience working with or demonstrate strong understanding of DAMA DMBOK.\nHave firsthand experience with data governance tools (e.g. Collibra, IBM WatsonX.Governance or similar) in an enterprise environment, which is highly desirable.\nAbility to communicate clearly to both technical and business (senior) stakeholders.\nProficiency in Dutch is a great plus.\nExperience or knowledge of data modelling approaches (e.g. Data Vault, dimensional modelling) and data integration patterns are a plus.\nExperience in regulated industries (e.g. financial services) is considered a plus. \nYour benefits | About your perks and work enjoyment\nA competitive salary that reflects your role and responsibilities, depending on experience and qualifications.\nPlus, a solid pension plan for the future.
