The DevOps Engineer ensures that solutions are secure, scalable, observable, and aligned with enterprise technology standards.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient, repeatable, and secure software delivery.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code practices.\nSupport cloud platform operations, including environment setup, deployment automation, scaling, monitoring, and incident resolution.\nCollaborate with developers, architects, security teams, and project managers to ensure smooth delivery from development through production.\nDefine and maintain deployment strategies, release processes, branching models, and environment management practices.\nImplement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to improve system reliability and operational visibility.\nSupport containerized and cloud-native workloads, including orchestration, runtime configuration, and deployment automation.\nEnsure DevOps practices comply with enterprise architecture, security, cloud, and operational standards.\nIdentify performance, reliability, and deployment risks, and proactively implement mitigation actions.\nTroubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and production issues in collaboration with development and operations teams.\nMaintain technical documentation for pipelines, environments, deployment procedures, operational runbooks, and platform standards.\nPromote DevOps culture, automation-first thinking, and continuous improvement across delivery teams.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\nTen to Twelve + years of overall experience in the Technical Field\nProven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role in software delivery environments.\nStrong experience with CI/CD tools and practices, such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or equivalent.\nPractical knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Ansible, or similar.\nGood understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience with scripting and automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar.\nUnderstanding of networking, security, identity, secrets management, and cloud governance principles.\nFamiliarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex technical issues across application, infrastructure, and deployment layers.\nStrong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience working in Agile delivery environments is an advantage.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Azure cloud services.\nKnowledge of DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, dependency checks, policy-as-code, and secure release gates.\nExperience supporting microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, or cloud-native architectures.\nFamiliarity with ITIL, incident management, change management, and production support processes.\nUnderstanding of enterprise architecture standards and regulated delivery environments.\nWhat we offer you\nAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
