We’re looking for directors who are both tech-savvy and business-minded, with a genuine passion for connecting SAP technology to real-world business challenges. We are looking for technologists who are driven to deliver solutions that truly transform the way clients consume data.\nKey responsibilities\nAs an EY Director, you’ll lead project engagements, working directly with clients and EY Partners. You’ll be responsible for guiding your team through all parts of a project - from developing new opportunities and identifying value for clients, to designing and delivering solutions. Alongside your client facing role, you’ll also be part of the SAP Analytics Technology leadership team and play a key role across people leadership.\nYour key responsibilities:\n1. Client Leadership & Delivery Oversight\nAct as senior delivery lead across complex SAP BDC / Datasphere / BW programmes, ensuring successful outcomes across scope, quality, timeline, and budget\nProvide oversight and challenge on solution architecture, ensuring alignment with client enterprise data strategies\nManage senior client stakeholders (CFO, CIO, Head of Data/FP&A), acting as a trusted advisor\nResolve critical delivery risks and escalations across workstreams\nEnsure integration across finance, data, and technology domains (e.g. SAC Planning, BDC, Databricks/Snowflake/Azure)\n2. Commercial Leadership\nOwn and contribute to sales pipelines, leading pursuits and proposals for Analytics\nShape client propositions around Analytics Transformation\nLead bid teams, including solutioning, pricing, and commercial structuring\nDrive revenue growth and margin performance across engagements\nIdentify and originate new opportunities within existing client accounts\n3. Offering & Asset Development\nDefine and evolve the SAP Analytics offering, including go-to-market propositions\nDrive AI innovation\nLead development of reusable assets\n4. Practice & Capability Leadership\nBuild and develop the SAP Analytics capability, including mentoring junior colleagues\nSupport recruitment and workforce planning aligned to growth strategy\nEstablish delivery standards, methods, and best practices across the practice\nFoster a high-performance culture focused on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement\n5. Thought Leadership & Market Presence\nRepresent the firm externally in client meetings, industry forums, and with alliance partners\nContribute to thought leadership\nPosition the practice as a leader in SAP data & analytics solutions\nSkills and attributes for success\nKey skills & experience required:\nStrong experience delivering SAP analytics solutions (multiple full project lifecycles)\nDeep understanding and experience of leading practices for architecting and building SAP data & analytics solutions\nStrong experience with cross-system integration\nDeep understanding of multiple SAP process areas and experience designing end to end analytics models\nProven track record of leading large-scale transformation programmes\nDemonstrated commercial acumen, including sales, pricing, and margin management\nStrong stakeholder management at executive level\nAbility to lead multidisciplinary teams across functional and technical domains\nIdeally, you’ll also have:\nIndustry expertise (energy / defence / retail / life sciences)\nExperience in non-SAP cloud data platforms (AWS / Azure / Databricks / Snowflake)\nExperience delivering SAP AI products\nWhat working at EY offers\nWe offer a competitive remuneration package where you’ll be rewarded for your individual and team performance.
