You will have the opportunity to work and take responsibilities in challenging engagements, gaining exposure to clients in various sectors both in Greece and abroad.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nDevelop scalable data pipelines to support batch and streaming data workloads across cloud-native environments\nBuild data transformations and integrations using modern data engineering languages (e.g. Python, SQL) and frameworks (e.g. Spark or similar)\nCollaborate with data architects and analysts to translate business needs into technical specifications and production-grade pipelines\nApply best practices in data modeling, version control, code quality, and modular pipeline development\nContribute to data platform modernization projects, ensuring robustness, reusability, and maintainability of the data engineering codebaseParticipate in client workshops, documenting technical requirements, and contributing to solution design discussions\nSupport testing, deployment, and monitoring of data solutions in production environments\nTo qualify for the role you must have:\nA BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other related, quantitative fields.\nAt least 2 years of relevant professional experience.Knowledge of Data Management concepts & methodologies.\nFamiliarity with at least one of the following: Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse, Delta etc.\nWorking experience in complex data querying (SQL, Spark).\nExperience in ETL/Pipelines design & development using industry tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Airflow, dbt, Informatica Cloud Data Integration, etc).\nExperience with Cloud Data Platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS etc.) and streaming solutions (e.g. Kafka) will be considered a plus.\nWhat We Look For\nStrong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.\nDesire to investigate and try-out new tools and technologies.\nAbility to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines with precision and composure.\nGood interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within high-performing teams.\nConfidence to convey technical advice and guidance to clients.\nEvidence of self-motivation for continuous development.\nWhat we offer you\nAbility to Shape your Future with Confidence by:\nDeveloping your professional growth:\nYou'll have unlimited access to educational platforms, EY Badges and EY Degrees, alongside support for certifications.
