You will work with Experience Leaders and Managers to help internal clients understand and articulate their vision, then design strategies to meet it.\nTo be successful in this role, you should have deep experience in design thinking and workshop facilitation as well as to event management and planning More specifically, the successful candidate should:\nExperience Design:\nEngage with the wavespace team and Service Line and Sector teams to develop wavespace experiences\nDefine strategy and design strategic solutions for the expected experience based on stakeholder interviews, research analysis, persona creation, user needs, journey maps, and business requirements\nDesign facilitated sessions for internal clients by applying design thinking methodology\nInterpret internal client needs in real time throughout an experience and create frameworks/ activities/templates to support them\nDesign Thinking:\nIdentify and collaborate with EY resources outside of the wavespace network to make use of the tools and services available and support the integration back into the designed experience\nHave expertise in wavespace methodology and approach as well as the broader design-thinking approach\nVisual & Interaction Design:\nPrototype in real-time frameworks, diagrams, interfaces or slides to enhance understanding and alignment\nDesign and create session materials and deliverables\nSupport internal clients in the use of the collaboration software used in the experience (e.g., Miro, Mural, Mentimeter, FigJam, Figma, etc.)\nOperations:\nSupport wavespace Experience Leader and Managers with various aspects of project management and “back of room” session process facilitation, as directed.\nLarge scale event management and event planning support\nStakeholder Network:\nDevelop and maintain long-term relationships with key internal clients, as well as internal/external networks\nArticulate and differentiate the value of design in a compelling manner to business leaders\nSkills and attributes for success\nThis is a highly visible role with significant leadership interaction.\nExperience in Design thinking and workshop delivery/facilitation\nProfessional or high-level educational experience with multi/specific design field(s) - visual, interaction, industrial, digital, etc.\nPeople management with strong communication skills\nProfessional background that includes either In-house design/innovation experience, Design/innovation experience from another consultancy\nAbility to manage ambiguity and change\nExperience in event management/planning\nAn innovative mindset and curiosity to seek new ways to improve or enhance ways of working, including staying current on design trends, methodologies and tools\nFamiliarity with digital collaboration platforms and techniques (e.g., Mural, Miro, etc.)\nConfidence facilitating discussion groups and collaboration activities\nStrong client-facing consulting experience\nUnderstanding EY’s client’s reality and challenges\nSubject matter expertise for the development of collaborative session designs to support the client in reaching desired outcomes and outputs faster and in a more innovative way\nAbility to oversee the delivery of Wavespace sessions, ensuring a high-quality seamless experience for all participants, an inclusive process that engages all, an action oriented event that maintains pace and a focus on outcomes that are both practical and short term.\nTo qualify for the role, you must have:\n4+ years professional experience including any mix of consulting, digital/innovation, product management with a commercial element, event management.\nStrong academic record and eagerness for continuous development\nStrong digital product and service development experience\nLarge scale meeting management and facilitation\nProject delivery experience in any of the areas below (not mandatory but would be greatly appreciated):\nDigital Transformation & Digital Design\nTechnology Implementation\nOrganizational Operating & Delivery Modelling and implementation\nProcess Efficiency (definition, implementation and measurement)\nCustomer Experience mapping/journey mapping\nDesign Thinking\nWhat we look for\nWe’re seeking passionate designers with creative confidence, good analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to establish and maintain credibility and excellent client relationships strong digital vision, enhanced emotional intelligence (EQ) and a desire to stay on top of both customer experience and digital trends and who value diversity and inclusion who team to provide our clients with innovative solutions.
