Our professionals work on transactions and business development across the globe.\nGDS SaT - Transaction Strategy and Execution - Deal Tech - Cybersecurity - Associate Manager, India\nThe Opportunity\nEY-Parthenon’s GDS Transaction Strategy and Execution (TSE) Technology team helps clients with IT-related aspects of M&A transactions:\nDeal tech: The TSE Technology team assesses the technology ecosystem and its role in M&A transactions.\nCybersecurity: Managing sign-to-close, and post-integration activities from an Information Security perspective\nEY-Parthenon’s GDS TSE Technology professionals help clients navigate transaction risk and increase value from the beginning of a deal to its execution.\nThis role requires prior expertise in managing complex IT integrations, separations, and transitions during mergers, acquisitions with extensive knowledge of information security, identity and access management, detection and response, and cyber risk and compliance.\nKey Responsibilities\nM&A Cybersecurity Integration & Separation:\nIdentify cybersecurity risks and integration/separation challenges across buy-side and sell-side transactions.\nDesign and execute cybersecurity integration and separation plans aligned with business goals.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless cyber integration during the sign-to-close phase.\nIdentify risks and issues related to cyber during the deal process and develop mitigation strategies.\nProvide expertise in cyber cost optimization and consolidation post-deal closure.\n\nCybersecurity Strategy Development:\nDevelop comprehensive cybersecurity strategies post-transaction to align with business and regulatory requirements.\nAdvise clients on target operating models for cybersecurity functions.\n\nCyber Risk & Compliance:\nConduct cyber risk assessments leveraging frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).\nProvide recommendations for achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance.\n\nIdentity and Access Management (IAM):\nAssess and design IAM strategies and solutions during M&A activities.\nEnsure identity security is maintained throughout integration or divestiture processes.\n\nCyber Maturity Assessment:\nConduct cyber maturity assessments pre- and post-M&A to evaluate the cybersecurity posture of organizations.\nCreate remediation roadmaps to enhance cybersecurity maturity.\n\nData Security Strategy:\nDevelop strategies to protect sensitive information assets across the data lifecycle.\nAddress data governance, classification, privacy, and protection considerations.\n\nDetection and Response:\nDesign and advise on detection and incident response capabilities.\nEnsure continuity of threat monitoring and response processes during organizational transitions.\n\nCyber Program Management:\nManage large to mid-sized engagements or workstreams of large engagements that help clients solve some of their most pressing issues during transaction lifecycle.\nSupport key decision makers in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value.\nManage the execution of integration and separation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.\nDocument lessons learned and best practices to improve future IT deal processes \n\nBusiness Development:\nAssist in business development activities, including preparing internal materials, GTM content and presentations for client and internal pursuit meetings, engage on larger SaT projects and pitch for potential technology interventions.\nAbility to analyse the evolving market environment and build solutions / services to cater to the same.\nDevelop Point of View documents and support business development initiatives\n\nSkills and attributes for success\nBusiness and Commercially Driven - work in a fast-paced, exciting environment with strong business acumen to drive value to our clients\nCapability Development - contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work\nLearning - learn and develop technical and personal skills to support achievement of career goals, through a blend of structured learning, coaching and experiences\nBuilding Relationships - cultivate strong working relationships with clients and support to key decision makers\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nA post Graduate degree in business management from a premier institute with 5-8 years of applicable consulting experience\nAt least 4 years of experience in Transaction Strategy, Cybersecurity Strategy or Technology Transformation in a top tier consulting firm\nLead large IT project execution experience with in-depth knowledge of IT project life cycles.
