You’ll work with diverse teams and cutting-edge technology to deliver strategic value and innovation.\nThis job posting relates to an existing vacancy within our organization.\nYour key responsibilities\nLead or support application modernization, cloud transformation, platform engineering, and infrastructure-modernization initiatives.\nAssess legacy applications and their supporting infrastructure to identify technical debt, dependencies, security risks, operational constraints, and modernization opportunities.\nDevelop modernization recommendations and roadmaps aligned with business objectives, technical requirements, risk tolerance, and expected value.\nDesign and implement modern application architectures using cloud-native, containerized, API-led, and event-driven patterns.\nModernize applications developed in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, .NET, Python, and related enterprise technologies.\nDesign and automate infrastructure environments using infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and repeatable deployment patterns.\nBuild and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security scanning, release processes, and software-delivery controls.\nDeploy and operate containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and related platform technologies.\nWork with infrastructure, identity, networking, storage, observability, backup, disaster-recovery, and operational-resilience requirements.\nUse AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate application discovery, documentation, code analysis, remediation, migration, testing, and modernization.\nSkills and attributes for success\nOne to five years of experience in application development, cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, technology consulting, or related roles, including relevant co-op or internship experience.\nDiploma or degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nStrong understanding of software engineering, application architecture, infrastructure, and enterprise technology environments.\nHands-on development experience with one or more of:\nJava\nJavaScript or TypeScript\nC# and .NET\nPython\nExperience with GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Visual Studio Code, source control, automated testing, and pull-request-based development.\nExperience with CI/CD technologies and DevSecOps practices.\nExperience with at least one major cloud platform, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.\nExperience with Docker and familiarity with:\nKubernetes\nHelm\nManaged container platforms\nService-mesh or ingress technologies\nFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code technologies, such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or comparable tools.\nKnowledge of APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, integration patterns, and distributed systems.\nUnderstanding of application and infrastructure security, including:\nIdentity and access management\nNetwork segmentation\nSecrets and certificate management\nSoftware composition analysis\nStatic and dynamic application-security testing\nVulnerability and patch management\nFamiliarity with observability technologies and practices covering logs, metrics, traces, alerts, dashboards, and service-level objectives.\nUnderstanding of resilience, high availability, backup, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and performance optimization.\nAbility to assess legacy applications and recommend appropriate approaches, including rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, rebuilding, replacing, or retiring.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted application development and modernization tools.\nGeneral understanding of how enterprise applications integrate with hosted or privately deployed AI services.\nStrong consulting, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.\nAbility to communicate technical architecture and modernization recommendations to both technical and business audiences.\nExperience coordinating small delivery teams of approximately two to five resources.\nStrategic mindset with a focus on sustainable transformation and measurable client value.\nEligibility to obtain the security clearance required for applicable client engagements.\nIdeally, you’ll also\nHold a degree in computer science, or a joint degree in computer science and business\nHave completed multiple internships in the technology sector, with hands-on experience in application development\nDemonstrate experience working in client-facing roles and supporting presentations\nWhat we look for\nWe’re seeking candidates who combine technical expertise with business acumen, and who are passionate about using AI to solve complex challenges.
