EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.\n Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems. \nThe opportunity\nThis role provides intermediate-level network services and network problem determination support; it also delivers network services to offshore clients, manages issue resolution, and supports disaster recovery implementation.\nYour key responsibilities\nProvides intermediate level network services, including supporting large scale network installations and installing and configuring standard network infrastructure. Runs network configuration changes and troubleshoots and resolves issues.\nMonitors records to ensure statuses are accurate and complete, and actions are on target. Reviews related records to identify requests that may have an impact on the network.\nProvides intermediate level telecom network services for elevated issues. Identifies failing components.\nAssists in maintaining and monitoring network system performance and identifying performance issues and trends. Identifies opportunities to automate manual system tasks. Develops and maintains telecom network documentation repository.\nAssists in installing and configuring network systems. Tests configuration changes and provides basic product installation procedures.\nComplies with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures.\nParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.\nProvides network services to offshore clients including deployment, optimization, and maintenance of network systems.\nPlans, manages, and prioritizes network issue resolution in line with business/user requirements.\nSupports implementation of a disaster recovery plan to mitigate network-related technical issues.\nSkills and attributes for success\nA team player with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills\nConstantly updating yourself about new technologies in the market\nA winning personality and the ability to become a trusted advisor to the stakeholders\nTo qualify for the role, you must have\nMinimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in network operations or administration./ 4+ years of hands-on network ops experience in a 24x7 enterprise environment.\nB.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.\nNetwork certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, Palo Alto PCNSA, AWS Cloud Practitioner are preferred.\nHands-on experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, routers, switches).\nFamiliarity with network monitoring tools and automation scripts for performance tuning.\nUnderstanding of telecom networking components and intermediate support procedures.\nKnowledge of disaster recovery strategies and documentation practices.\nExperience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.\nIdeally, you’ll also have\nStrong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.\nBe highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.\nComfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)\nWhat we look for\nStrong teamwork, work ethic, product mindset, client centricity and a relentless commitment to EY values.\nWhat working at EY offers\nWe offer a competitive remuneration package where you’ll be rewarded for your individual and team performance.
