This senior role offers you the opportunity to ensure system stability, security, and high performance across complex SAP landscapes.\nYou will work closely with IT teams, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to implement best practices, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and support system upgrades, patches, and migrations. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining system health, ensuring compliance with IT policies, and supporting disaster recovery and business continuity efforts.\nIn this role, you will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior BASIS team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth. You will be part of a collaborative team that values technical excellence and innovation, delivering reliable SAP BASIS services to support business operations\nYour Key Responsibilities\nResponsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.\nAccountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.\nPerformance monitoring & tuning, Problem analysis & resolution, and other activities required to maintain system integrity SAP administration on UNIX & Windows\nSystem /System copy\nABAP + Java-dual stack\nAdd-on and Support Pack application and troubleshooting\nKernel Upgrade\nClient copies and export-import\nTMS administration and configuration and troubleshooting Transport errors\nSAP system monitoring and thorough analysis of issues\nSAP parameter change, operation mode setup, Logon group setup\nSAP Role based Authorization knowledge - Role creation and modification\nSpool administration and troubleshooting spool/printer issues\nOSS Note application\nExperience in Single -Sign On, Web Dispatcher\nExperience in working SAP on public cloud and private cloud.\nExperience in working with cloud service providers like AWS, Azure and GCP.\nSAP Solution Manager experience with basic and advanced configuration.\nHands-on experience with SAP user provisioning, authorization troubleshooting, and role assignments.\nBasic knowledge of OS/DB migration processes.\nFamiliarity with Web Dispatcher, Gateway, and SAP integration components.\nSkills and attributes for success\nShould have 4 to 7 years of experience in SAP Basis domain.\nSolid hands-on experience in SAP system administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and performance optimization.\nShould understand SAP architecture, transport management, kernel updates, and system refresh processes.\nProficient in administering SAP HANA (monitoring, tuning, backup/recoveries, basic troubleshooting).\nExperience supporting landscapes like S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, PO/PI, Fiori, Solution Manager, etc.\nStrong SAP BTP knowledge, including key services, integration patterns, and administration fundamentals.\nStrong working experience with RISE with SAP environments and operational activities.\nStrong documentation skills for system delivery, ensuring clear, structured, and audit-ready technical documentation.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.\nKnowledge of Solution Manager features such as CHARM, EWA, and monitoring.\nIdeally, you’ll also\nPractical experience managing SAP workloads on Azure or AWS (VMs, storage classes, networking, monitoring).\nExposure to SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) for monitoring, change control, and operations.\nExposure to SAP Data Archiving with OpenText\nCertifications:\nSAP Technology Associate certifications (SAP Basis or HANA).\nSAP Cloud Certifications (RISE, BTP, HANA Cloud, etc.).\nCloud certification (AWS, Azure and GCP).\nExposure to enterprise transformation tools such as Signavio and LeanIX for process modeling, architecture governance, and landscape documentation.\nWhat we offer you\nAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
