The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles within technology-driven environments, with a proven track record of delivering secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions through automation and cloud engineering best practices.\nAs a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end implementation of Azure and Hybrid Cloud infrastructure solutions, from planning and architecture through deployment, migration, and operational support. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and governance of cloud environments while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to deliver complex technology transformation initiatives on time and within scope.\nYour key responsibilities\nImplement and automate Azure infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates) to enable rapid and consistent deployment of cloud resources.\nConfigure, administer, maintain, and support Azure and Hybrid Cloud environments.\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize cloud deployment automation and infrastructure delivery pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and related cloud engineering tools.\nDesign and implement Azure Landing Zones, governance frameworks, security baselines, and operational best practices.\nDesign, implement, and deploy Azure and Hybrid Cloud infrastructure solutions following cloud engineering, security, and operational best practices.\nSupport the migration and modernization of applications and workloads to Azure and Hybrid Cloud platforms.\nDevelop and implement monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure operational reliability and performance.\nCollaborate with technical and security teams to implement cloud security controls and compliance requirements.\nEvaluate current infrastructure and cloud platforms and provide recommendations to improve automation, operational efficiency, and self-service capabilities.\nEngage with client IT teams in workshops to support the adoption of Cloud, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Automation, and cloud governance practices.\nContinuously explore, evaluate, and integrate emerging cloud, AI, and automation technologies to enhance platform capabilities.\nSupport managed cloud operations and service delivery activities throughout the lifecycle of cloud solutions.\nTo qualify for the role, you must demonstrate the following skills and experience\nBetween 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related cloud technology roles.\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including networking, compute, storage, monitoring, identity, and security services.\nExperience with Terraform, Bicep, or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.\nExperience designing and implementing Azure DevOps pipelines and cloud deployment automation solutions.\nUnderstanding of Azure Landing Zones, cloud governance, and security best practices.\nUnderstanding of Hybrid Cloud architectures and cloud migration approaches.\nUnderstanding of, or experience in, Agile delivery environments.\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and writing skills in English and Greek (Greek not mandatory).\nAbility to work effectively in both collaborative and independent work environments.\nProven ability to work within Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure delivery teams on complex cloud transformation projects.\nIdeally, you'll also have\nDiploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.\nStrong technical knowledge of Azure-native services, cloud networking, identity management, and cloud security architectures.\nExperience with Kubernetes, container platforms, and cloud-native application architectures.\nExperience implementing and maintaining monitoring and observability solutions such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.\nExperience building and maintaining cloud security controls, governance frameworks, and compliance processes.\nUnderstanding and experience in cloud security, platform engineering, AI, MLOps, cloud automation, or infrastructure modernization initiatives.\nMicrosoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or AZ-500 are considered an advantage.\nWhat we offer you\nAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
