The candidate will play a key role in contributing to ongoing compliance and operational initiatives within the National CPA team.\nThe National CPA team is seeking a CPA Student Program Coordinator to assist CPA students in completing their practical experience and educational requirements. In this position, you will engage with students, support transaction processing, manage data entry and records, and coordinate various practical experience and educational processes. This role is essential in helping students navigate their path to CPA membership.\nYour key responsibilities\nLearning Administration (National CPA)\nSupport cyclical compliance activities by reviewing submissions against established criteria, identifying exceptions, and coordinating follow-up communications with participants and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of practical experience requirements.\nPrepare, reconcile, and validate data from multiple sources using Excel and other reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records used for operational activities and reporting.\nSupport the CPA team in reviewing the student registration, module registration, and tuition documentation (including invoices) against student rosters\nAssist with the administration of annual compliance and membership-related processes, including tracking participant status, monitoring deadlines, and supporting communications to candidates.\nMaintain accurate participant records and support documentation in accordance with established procedures and data governance requirements.\nRespond to routine inquiries through email and other communication channels from CPA students, applying process documentation and escalating complex issues as appropriate.\nSupport process improvement initiatives, data clean-up activities, testing, and other special projects as required.\nSkills and attributes for success\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data inconsistencies, work through issues independently and with the team\nAdvanced Excel skills, including experience with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data reconciliation, filtering, and reporting (Power Query is an asset)\nProficient in Outlook\nProficient in MS Teams, SharePoint and Office 360\nExceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when working with large volumes of information.\nStrong written communication skills\nStrong analytical, organizational and project management skills\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain trusted relationships\nAbility to manage multiple priorities independently during peak times\nAbility to take initiative and think through next steps / prioritize items to complete\nExtremely trustworthy and capable of handling highly sensitive and confidential information\nThis position may require overtime during peak times.\nWhat we look for\nWe are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, analytical, logical thinkers and have a very strong attention to detail and the ability to meet multiple and/or unexpected deadlines in a demanding environment.\nWhat working at EY offers\nAt EY, our Total Rewards package supports our commitment to creating a leading people culture - built on high-performance teaming - where everyone can achieve their potential and contribute to building a better working world for our people, our clients and our communities.
