We're hiring a Forward Deployed Data Engineer to sit within that team and own the technical relationship with those customers day to day.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nThis role blends hands-on data engineering with direct customer ownership, from first workshop through to delivered solution.\n- Lead discovery workshops with customers to understand their business problems firsthand\n- Present findings and solution approaches to both technical teams and executive stakeholders\n- Translate business problems into scoped data, analytics and AI solutions\n- Build and prototype applied AI use cases directly with customers\n- Own engagements end to end, including scoping, estimates and risk management\n- Work closely with Sales, Product and Engineering to shape and deliver customer solutions\nWHAT YOU NEED\nYou'll bring solid data engineering depth alongside real comfort operating in front of customers.\n- 5+ years of hands-on data engineering or analytics engineering experience\n- Strong SQL skills\n- Experience with a cloud data warehouse, Snowflake preferred, or equivalent hands-on depth on another modern cloud data warehouse\n- Python or another relevant programming language\n- Experience with dbt or an equivalent transformation framework\n- Solid data quality and governance practices\n- Git-based development and CI/CD experience\n- Strong customer-facing communication skills, comfortable presenting to executive audiences\n- Power BI dashboard-building experience is a plus\n- Prior experience in professional services, solutions engineering or technical consulting is a plus\n- Experience with Snowflake Secure Data Sharing or customer data integration is a plus\n- Streaming or near-real-time data experience is a plus\n- Background in transportation, telematics,
