It is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to backfill a role on the platform team supporting its global SaaS platforms.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nExpect a genuine mix of steady-state work and meaningful change to get your teeth into.\n\nJoin a platform team where BAU operations sit alongside a set of shifting business-priority projects.\n\nHelp drive platforms toward stronger reliability as the team consolidates its cloud footprint.\n\nTake the observability setup from monitoring exposure to a more mature, uplifted practice.\n\nProgress security uplift work and other planned platform improvements.\n\nMature cloud cost reporting and optimisation into an ongoing, embedded practice.\n\nTake part in an on-call roster\n\nWHAT YOU NEED\nCandidates should bring strong hands-on cloud operations experience together with a genuinely good attitude.\n\nStrong hands-on production experience with AWS is required.\n\nWorking conceptual familiarity with Azure is needed, with hands-on Azure experience a bonus but not required if your AWS experience is strong.\n\nHands-on production experience operating Kubernetes at scale is required, whether on AKS or EKS.\n\nExperience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code technology is needed.\n\nCI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Concourse or similar tools is required.\n\nPractical scripting ability in Ruby, Bash, Python or similar languages is required.\n\nHands-on depth with monitoring, alerting and visualisation tools such as Grafana, Sumo Logic or Datadog is required.\n\nSome demonstrable hands-on experience with cloud cost optimisation or FinOps work is needed.\n\nA logical, open-minded approach and a can-do attitude are important.\n\nGood time management is needed to balance BAU work against shifting project priorities.\n\nAutomated provisioning tooling knowledge such as Chef, Ansible or Puppet is a plus.\n\nExperience with containerisation or PaaS products, relational databases,
