We seek those who share our commitment to customer service, innovation, and ingenuity.\nPosition Overview\nWe are looking to hire a reliable, safety orientated, self-driven, and resourceful Facilities Technician who will be responsible for the overall maintenance and coordination with landlords for building improvements of our Houston properties. This includes ensuring that all building systems are operational, addressing safety concerns, performing regular inspections, and coordinating repairs. The Technician will also oversee any contracted work and maintain records of maintenance activities. This position will maintain relationships with other departments such as Safety, IT, and Shop managers and report directly to the Facilities Manager.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nPerform daily routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry to ensure proper functioning.\nAddress emergency maintenance issues promptly.\nEnsure the building’s compliance with safety regulations and building codes.\nRespond to safety complaints and service requests in a timely and professional manner.\nEnsure common areas are clean and well-maintained.\nResponsible for maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.\nSupervise and coordinate special projects with contractors.\nInspect completed work to ensure it meets the building’s standards.\nMaintain a schedule of regular maintenance tasks and inspections.\nMaintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.\nPrepare reports on building operations and maintenance activities.\nStrong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.\nExcellent problem-solving and organizational skills.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.\nBasic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.\nRequirements\n Basic (Required) Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training in building systems or maintenance is a plus.\nValid driver's license with good standing.\nHave a reliable form of transportation.\n5 years of experience in Facility Maintenance. \nBackground Check, Motor Vehicle Check, and Drug Screen required.\nMust possess a valid Texas state driver's license.\nAbility to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).\nCapability to perform tasks that require climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.\nAbility to be on-call for emergencies and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.\nThe role may require working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks.\nAbility to handle highly sensitive information confidentially. \nDemonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.\nStrong customer service skills, self-starter, highly motivated, and flexible as priorities change. \nAssist in setting up and arranging furniture, equipment, and materials for meetings, events, or workspace changes.\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable. \nSupport safety protocols by identifying and addressing potential hazards, ensuring clear emergency exits, and participating in safety drills.\nMay occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCustomer service experience\nBasic computer skills\nBilingual Spanish / English\nAble to multitask\nSchedule:\nDay shift\nMonday to Friday\nWork setting:\nIn-person\nThis role may require some travel between company facilities throughout the day.\nAbility to commute:\nHouston, TX 77002 ,77011, 77065, 77020, 77433, 77044\n Your Rewards!\nCompetitive pay reflective of skill and experience level.\nCompany-Paid Life Insurance\nFlexible Spending Account (FSA)\nWellness Programs and Incentives\n401(k) Retirement Plan & Company Match\nPaid Time Off - Sick & Vacation Time\nPaid Holidays\nEligible for overtime\nDo you have what it takes to join the Enchanted Rock team?
