We seek those who share our commitment to customer service, innovation, and ingenuity.\nRole Overview:\nWe are looking to hire a detailed-oriented, driven, and resourceful Microgrid Mechanical Technician to assume responsibilities for multiple Microgrid generators. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of performing maintenance on power generation equipment, electrical experience as a plus. The Microgrid Mechanical Technician will coordinate with Area Managers to ensure generators are maintained, serviced, and operate for customer requirements for on demand electricity.\n Key Responsibilities:\nPerform skilled repairs of Volvo Penta Diesel Engines (16 L), Power Solutions International (21.9 L) and Marathon generator ends, as well as various voltage control and synchronizing equipment.\nBe proficient at learning and utilizing manufacturer specific software to troubleshoot and diagnose engine and control system problems.\nFacilitate technical support and liaison with equipment manufacturers.\nPerform scheduled, preventive, or predictive generator maintenance tasks.\nPerform troubleshooting and repair tasks.\nPerform periodic inspections to identify maintenance needs.\nWork in potentially confined areas of high heat and humidity, and cold.\nFollow company process and procedures for verbal/written communications.\nUtilize all current technology for communication, documentation, and research.\nEnsure Safe Operation of electrical equipment by enforcing company and industry standards.\nSafely prepare, operate, and maintain motor vehicles for the purpose of conducting company business.\nAdditional responsibilities may be added at the direction of Company’s management.\nSafely prepare, operate, and maintain a motor vehicle for purposes of conduction company business\nRequirements\n Basic (Required) Qualifications:\nExperience - at least 3 Years Mechanical and/or Electrical\nEducation Level - preferred College or Equivalent Training (i.e. Military)\nOperate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport materials, equipment, or personnel to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.\nSuccessfully pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check to ensure compliance with company standards and safe driving practices.\nAttention to Detail- Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attention to detail.\nComputer skills- Uses computers, software applications, databases and automated systems to accomplish work.\nFlexibility-Technicians have a rotating on call schedule.
