The Power is On and we keep it on.\nWhat you’ll do…\nWe are looking to hire a detailed-oriented, driven, and resourceful professional to lead shipping, receiving, and inventory responsibilities to support our manufacturing / production operation with inventory coordination, shipping, receiving, and other responsibilities to allow safe and efficient inventory operations. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills and have experience in inventory/warehousing and freight logistics. This role will help warehouse / inventory operations while creating a safe environment, maintaining quality and minimizing unnecessary costs.\nThe individual in this position will work Thursday - Sunday each week, 6:00am - 4:00pm.\n You’ll make an impact by:\nManage all shipping/receiving operations and guarantee inventory integrity through enforcement of inventory management policies.\nEnforce labeling stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.\nOversee the received and counted stock items, arrange dispatching of parts and unbox and separate by designated item number.\nFacilitate the storing and placement of items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas as instructed.\nEnsure checked parts received. Communicate with shop inventory person to rectify problems, such as damage, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.\nLead the pack and unpack of items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.\nHelp record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.\nOversee the maintenance and cleanliness of supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.\nWork with the safety department to report, repair and replace broken tools.\nResponsible for the safe shipping/loading and receiving/unloading of all items utilizing equipment that are manual, motorized, or other in nature.\nOperating forklift for uploading and offloading parts.\nOperating the crane and rigging as needed.\nEffectively communicating with others and can work both independently and on a team in a dynamic environment.\nCompleting and perform necessary certification (and recertification if necessary) training to utilize equipment as required to perform job function.\nBeing responsible for daily/weekly cleaning of the shop and work area.\nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n You’ll sweep us off our feet if you:\nHave experience with Lean/Operational Excellence standards and practices (i.e. 5S, Kaizen, etc.)\nHave Crane Operator / Rigging experience\nHave knowledge of/ experience using inventory management systems\nHave knowledge of/experience using financial/accounting system.\nRequirements\n What you’ll need:\n3 years’ experience in managing a team.\nLeading and scheduling inventory staff, conduct performance coaching, and assist with hiring and training new employees.\nPrevious experience in Warehouse Coordination / Inventory control is a plus\nUnderstanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions.\nLead inventory staff, ensuring compliance with procedures, preparing inventory for shipping, and reporting on stock levels to management.\nIdentified and resolved discrepancies, managing supplier relationships, and contributing to the overall optimization of the supply chain.\nAble to lift objects up to 50 pounds.\nCrane Operator / Rigging experience a plus\nForklift operator experience.\nKnowledge of security/Safety operations and procedures.\nCapable of immediately responding to emergencies to provide necessary assistance.\nEffective written and oral communications.\nAbility to work in a team environment and coordinate with other areas to achieve goals and objectives with minimum direct supervision.\nAbility to effectively manage time and complete tasks as needed.\nWork with minimum supervision, be a self-starter, be able to meet goals and deadlines on own initiative.?\nStrong computer skills and proficiency with Smartsheet, MS Outlook, Word, Excel & Power Point is a plus.\nAbility to multitask.\nMust maintain a valid state issued driver's license.\nPhysical requirements and working conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and to use standard warehouse equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry 50 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
