We seek those who share our commitment to customer service, innovation, and ingenuity.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily execution of maintenance activities at ERock's McCloud Power Station in El Paso, TX. This individual will provide frontline leadership to maintenance technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with production priorities. The Maintenance Supervisor will partner closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, and Planning to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement\n Key Responsibilities:\nLead daily maintenance operations for assigned shifts, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. \nConduct start-of-shift meetings to review safety topics, work assignments, maintenance priorities, schedule changes, and operational updates. \nCoordinate daily maintenance activities with the Maintenance Planner, balancing preventive maintenance, corrective work orders, available resources, and production priorities. \nAssign work based on technician skill level, qualifications, workload, and business needs while ensuring employees clearly understand job expectations and hazards. \nMaintain a visible presence on the production floor by providing coaching, guidance, and field leadership throughout the shift. \nPerform routine job observations and quality audits to verify work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with company procedures. \nReview and authorize safe work permits within assigned authority, ensuring hazards, PPE requirements, and job scope are properly identified prior to work execution. \nEnsure Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other energy isolation requirements are properly implemented and consistently followed. \nMonitor work progress, resolve maintenance issues, adjust priorities as needed, and communicate schedule changes with Operations and Production leadership. \nLead troubleshooting efforts for equipment failures while supporting root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions to improve equipment reliability. \nCoach, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians while managing employee performance, attendance, safety, and accountability in partnership with Human Resources. \nPromote a strong safety culture through regular coaching, hazard recognition, compliance with company policies, and continuous reinforcement of safe work practices. \nDocument completed work, outstanding maintenance items, equipment concerns, and shift turnover information to ensure effective communication across teams. \nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on maintenance processes, equipment uptime, reliability, and overall plant performance. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nRequirements\nBasic (Required) Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical certification preferred. \n5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment. \n2+ years of experience leading maintenance technicians or frontline maintenance teams. \nExperience coordinating preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. \nWorking knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial equipment systems. \nExperience utilizing CMMS or maintenance management software. \nStrong understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), safe work permitting, and industrial safety practices. \nAbility to read equipment manuals, technical drawings, and maintenance documentation. \nStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to work flexible schedules, including weekends or off-shift support as business needs require. \n Preferred Qualifications:\nExperience within power generation, heavy industrial manufacturing, oil & gas, utilities, or rotating equipment. \nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles. \nExperience leading continuous improvement initiatives. \nSupervisory experience supporting high-growth manufacturing operations. \nOSHA 30 or equivalent safety training. \nBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. \nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nMaintenance planning and execution \nPreventive and predictive maintenance \nEquipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis \nCMMS systems \nIndustrial safety and LOTO compliance \nLeadership and employee development \nProduction support and cross-functional collaboration \nContinuous improvement mindset \nStrong communication and organizational skills \nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment \n Benefits:\nCompetitive Pay \nMedical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance \nCompany-Paid Life Insurance \nFlexible Spending Account (FSA) \nHealth Savings Account (HSA) with a company contribution \nWellness Programs and Incentives \n401(k) Retirement Plan & Company Match \nPaid Time Off - Sick & Vacation Time \nPaid Holidays \nDo you have what it takes to join the ERock team?
