This role is responsible for building and sustaining a high-performing maintenance organization that ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all generation and balance-of-plant equipment.\nThis position is site-based and accountable for maintenance strategy, planning, and execution, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs. The Maintenance Manager establishes maintenance processes, develops personnel, and ensures all work is executed to standard with a focus on reliability and performance.\nThis role operates within ERock’s management model, partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and corporate functional teams to support long-term asset performance and operational success.\nThis role reports to the Site Manager at the assigned site.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLeading and supervising Maintenance personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all maintenance activities.\nEstablishing and managing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to support equipment reliability and availability.\nDeveloping and maintaining work planning, scheduling, and execution processes to ensure timely and effective maintenance delivery.\nMonitoring equipment performance, identifying failure trends, and driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.\nEnsuring all maintenance work is properly documented within the CMMS, including work orders, history, and asset data.\nCoordinating planned outages, forced outages, and routine maintenance activities, ensuring availability of parts, tooling, and resources.\nPromoting and enforcing a strong safety culture, including adherence to PPE, LOTO, and environmental requirements.\nManaging contractor activities related to maintenance, ensuring alignment with site safety and performance expectations.\nPartnering with Operations and Engineering to prioritize work, communicate equipment status, and support troubleshooting efforts.\nSupporting development and implementation of maintenance procedures, inspection protocols, and work instructions.\nManaging maintenance budgets, contracts, and resource allocation to support cost-effective execution.\nSupporting inventory and material management to ensure availability of critical spare parts and consumables.\nSupporting training and development of maintenance personnel to build technical capability and bench strength.\nEnsuring compliance with all applicable regulatory, environmental, and operational requirements.\nProviding clear and timely reporting to the Site Manager and corporate leadership.\nRole Scope & Leadership Expectations\nThis role is responsible for full ownership of maintenance execution and the development of the maintenance organization. The Maintenance Manager sets expectations for quality, safety, and performance across all maintenance activities.\nSuccess in this role requires strong technical knowledge, planning discipline, and the ability to drive consistency in execution across a complex operating environment. The Maintenance Manager is expected to identify gaps, improve processes, and elevate team capability over time.\nThis role serves as a key interface between site maintenance execution and corporate functional teams, ensuring alignment with company standards while maintaining ownership of site performance.\nRequirements\n Basic (Required) Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n7+ years of experience in maintenance within power generation or a similar industrial environment.\nPrior leadership or supervisory experience in maintenance operations.\nStrong understanding of maintenance programs, planning, scheduling, and execution.\nExperience with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation practices.\nStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.\nStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.\nBasic computer skills for reporting, documentation, and system use.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHave experience leading maintenance organizations in power generation or heavy industrial environments.\nHave strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and rotating equipment systems.\nAre highly organized and execution-focused, with strong planning and scheduling discipline.\nPrioritize safety and consistently reinforce standards and expectations.\nAre proactive in identifying equipment risks and driving reliability improvements.\nCommunicate clearly and effectively across operations, engineering, and leadership teams.\nTake ownership of performance and continuously look for ways to improve maintenance execution.\nWork effectively across teams and build strong cross-functional relationships.\n Physical & Work Environment Requirements:\nAbility to work in industrial and outdoor environments, including exposure to heat, humidity, and cold.\nRegular presence in operating areas with exposure to mechanical and electrical equipment.\nAbility to stand, walk, and navigate the site for extended periods.\nAbility to climb ladders and safely lift up to 50 pounds.\nRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety standards.\n Benefits:\nCompetitive Pay \nMedical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance \nCompany-Paid Life Insurance \nFlexible Spending Account (FSA) \nHealth Savings Account (HSA) with a company contribution \nWellness Programs and Incentives \n401(k) Retirement Plan & Company Match \nPaid Time Off - Sick & Vacation Time \nPaid Holidays \nDo you have what it takes to join the ERock team?
