You will use GenAI, AI agents, and intelligent automation to turn telemetry (logs, metrics, traces) into faster incident resolution, better operational decisions, and higher engineering productivity. Examples are an on-call assistant, automated alert triage, and RAG over runbooks and post-mortems.\nWhat to do:\nDesign, build, and operate GenAI assistants, AI agents, and automation workflows for observability and operations.\n\nUse telemetry data for AI-powered insights, such as root cause analysis, log and trace summarization, and anomaly detection.\n\nBuild RAG and knowledge-management solutions on top of runbooks, incident history, and documentation.\n\nIdentify high-value AI use cases with engineering, operations, platform, and compliance teams, and turn them into working solutions.\n\nDefine success metrics and measure the business impact of AI initiatives.\n\nEvaluate and integrate emerging AI frameworks and platforms.\n\nPromote responsible AI practices, governance, and operational reliability.\n\nContribute to the organization's AI strategy.\n\nRequirements\nYou check these boxes:\nUniversity degree or equivalent, plus 5 years of professional IT experience.\n\nHands-on experience building GenAI/LLM and AI agent applications.\n\nStrong Python and API integration skills.\n\nWorking knowledge of observability concepts and tooling, such as OpenTelemetry and the Grafana ecosystem.\n\nAbility to explain complex AI topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nProficiency in English.\nNice to have:\n\nExperience with Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, or Dynatrace.\n\nCloud experience, preferably AWS, plus Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.\n\nSoftware engineering background and the ability to read application code.\n\nUnderstanding of SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering practices.\n\nExperience with data engineering for AI.\n\nWhy you will like us:\nPossibility to benefit and learn from our international, talented and passionate community at Erste\n\nInterest groups and clubs: Take part in discussions and get involved in projects.
