We’re looking for someone who enjoys turning complex business needs into smart, simple, and scalable technical solutions. You’ll help shape the technical foundation behind modern digital banking - from APIs and automated workflows to AI-powered and agentic services.

You know how to bridge the gap between business and technology, whether that means designing great REST APIs, shaping end-to-end business workflows, or bringing different stakeholders together around a common solution. You are curious, structured, and a strong communicator who cares about clarity, consistency, and creating real value for our customers.

What to do:

• Translate business ideas and requirements into clear technical concepts, software requirements, APIs, and workflows

• Design REST APIs and integrations based on modern architecture principles and help evolve our API landscape

• Work on innovative digital banking solutions, including automation, AI-powered services, and emerging Agentic AI use cases

• Review functional and technical designs with scalability, security, maintainability, future business needs, and operations in mind

• Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, product owners, data experts, and business stakeholders - from first idea to production

• Create shared understanding across business and IT and help teams make well-informed technical decisions

• Contribute to an agile environment using Jira and actively participate in refinements, Scrum or Kanban meetings, and retrospectives

• Continuously improve our APIs, processes, standards, and ways of working

Requirements

You check these boxes:

• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to connect business needs with technical solutions

• 5+ years of recent active experience in requirements engineering, business analysis, solution design, software engineering, or a comparable technical role

• A good understanding of modern technologies and architecture concepts such as REST APIs, Microservices, PaaS, SOA, system integration, and cloud technologies

• Interest in emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Agentic AI - hands-on experience is a plus, but curiosity and willingness to learn are just as important

• Active recent experience working in agile software delivery environments

• The ability to make complex topics simple and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• A collaborative mindset and the confidence to challenge ideas constructively and bring people together

• Good English skills; German is an advantage

• A technical degree is welcome, but relevant experience, technical understanding, and a passion for technology are just as important

• A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - we are obliged by law to quote the minimum wage of EUR 2.700,- gross per month for this full time position.
