Based in Bratislava, the team closely collaborates with other development teams and product management to develop security and protection features and solutions directly embedded into ESET product portfolio protecting over 1 billion devices worldwide.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Software Engineer with C++ you will grow your skills in the endpoint network protection domain and contribute to the overall success of our products.\nYour responsibilities will cover:\nParticipation in the development of assigned components and applications.\nDevelopment of internal tools for collected network data analysis.\nParticipation in code reviews as a member of an agile team.\nParticipation and ownership of analytical tasks correlated to your application development.\nCooperation with multiple development teams and stakeholders across the company.\nEssential Requirements\nIdeally 3+ years of experience with C++ in a developer role.\nExperience with multithreading, memory management, debugging, and performance optimization.\nPractical understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS etc.).\nKeen general interest in networking, security and cloud (protocols, technologies, development etc.).\nWorking knowledge and experience with modern AI assisted development.\nIntermediate English (B1) or higher.\nAnalytical thinking, conceptual and systematic approach.\nWillingness to learn new things, open mind.\nDesirable (nice to have) Requirements\nKnowledge of deep packet inspection or protocol detection.\nExperience with Windows drivers or kernel-mode development.\nBasic knowledge about Kubernetes, Docker, containerization technologies in general.\nBasic Python knowledge for scripting, testing, tooling, or automation.\nExperience with Atlassian products (Jira / Confluence) and Git.\nReady to Make an Impact?\nIf you’re excited about this opportunity and feel it aligns with your journey, don’t hesitate-apply and show us what drives you.\nBasic wage component (brutto): from 2700€/m.
