This role participates in the development of analytics that help business partners better understand performance, opportunities, and risk. The analyst supports the maintenance of analytical models used across multiple business functions while helping ensure underlying data remains accurate and effective. Working closely with analysts and business partners, this position helps turn complex information into practical insights that support organizational priorities.\nAccountabilities:\nAnalytics & Reporting Solutions\nDesign and create reports and analytics to support business activities\nTransform complex data into meaningful information that supports decision-making across the organization\nRecommend improvements that enhance reporting capabilities, create efficiencies, and increase the value of analytical deliverables\nSupport the ongoing development of departmental reporting assets, analytical tools, and models\nData Analysis & Management\nAnalyze internal and external data to identify meaningful trends, opportunities, and potential risks\nConduct research that informs strategic decisions and supports departmental priorities\nTranslate analytical findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations\nEnsure analytical assets remain effective, efficient, and aligned with business requirements\nBusiness Partnership\nCollaborate with stakeholders and team to understand analytical needs and priorities\nSupport cross-functional initiatives through data analysis and reporting expertise\nCommunicate analytical findings in a manner that is appropriate for the audience and business need\nProfessional Development & Continuous Learning\nStay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices\nDevelop skills in alignment with organizational and career goals\nAttend workshops, conferences, or professional association events\nPerform other related duties as assigned or appropriate to support business needs\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Information Science, Finance, Economics, or related field or 4 years of equivalent experience in data analytics, report creation, modeling, business intelligence, risk management, or similar field \nIn addition, 2+ years of experience in data analytics, report creation, modeling, business intelligence, risk management, or similar field (internships and/or relevant coursework can contribute to this total)\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy\nDemonstrates alignment with ESL’s Core Values, mission, vision, and purpose to help our community thrive and prosper\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDemonstrated experience using Power BI, Power Query, Python, R, and/or SQL\nFamiliar with banking products, services, and business processes\nExperience supporting the development or maintenance of analytical models\nExposure to working with multiple enterprise data sources to solve business problems\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills\nCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care\nWe’re committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
