This is an exciting and fantastic opportunity to be part of a new, specialist provision supporting vulnerable young people aged 7 to 18 years who have SEND and SEMH needs.\nPupils are encouraged to cover a range of qualifications ranging from Entry Level Certificates, through Functional Skills to GCSE.\n What we are looking for\n\nWe are looking for an outstanding, committed and qualified teacher to contribute to pupil learning, development and well-being.\nA flexible approach with a can-do ethos is essential, as is drive, enthusiasm and sense of humour. If you are adaptable, innovative and child focused then we want to hear from you.\nWe will be looking to recruit a staff team that has a multitude of talents to enable us to provide a rich academic curriculum from the outset and look forward to hearing what additional skills, talents and interests you could bring to this role.\nWhat we need from you:\nQualified Teacher status\nSound curriculum knowledge surrounding mathematics and science (ideally across several key stages)\nProven experience of working with specialist education for young people\nProven experience of working with young people that challenge\nA committed, conscientious and passionate approach to inclusion\nThe ability to plan, evaluate and monitor learning and progress\nThe ability to build good relationships with young people and staff members alike\nGood organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and use time effectively\nA positive attitude to hard work and challenging situations\n\nSuccessful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices.\n\nAll young people are equally entitled to have their needs met in a fair and balanced way.
