You will own sensor integration, data ingestion, quality assurance, and deployment automation.\nThis is a hands-on role where you will own technical direction, influence the team, and remain deeply involved in architecture and implementation.\nWhat you will do:\nSystems Integration\nDesign and deploy multi-protocol IoT integrations (Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN) from native sensors to cloud platforms.\n\nBuild data-ingestion services for telemetry, events, status updates, and firmware metadata.\n\nDevelop integration frameworks and APIs that bridge sensor networks, edge gateways, and cloud data platforms.\n\nDesign schemas, data models, and transformation logic for sensor data pipelines.\n\nManage cloud infrastructure and edge systems using infrastructure-as-code and deployment tooling.\n\nQuality and Automation\nOwn end-to-end QA across firmware, tag provisioning, mobile apps, web applications, and cloud services.\n\nWrite and maintainunit, integration, and end-to-end tests.\n\nBuild automated testing frameworks for validating sensor integrations and data accuracy.\n\nImplement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.\n\nInvestigate and resolve production issues across integrations, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.\n\nImprove system reliability through retries, idempotency, monitoring, and error handling.\n\nLeadership and Collaboration\nLead by influence across the engineering stack. Set clear goals, priorities, and quality standards.\n\nMentor engineers through design reviews and direct feedback on architecture and QA.\n\nInitiate and lead technical design discussions and communicate tradeoffs clearly.\n\nCollaborate with hardware, firmware, product, and cloud teams to align ontechnical direction.\n\nLead pilot programs and technical validation with partners and customers.\n\nBuild the team through hiring and help define technical standards.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\nRequired\n5+ years in systems integration, deployment engineering, or IoT platform development.\n\nAbility to lead technical teams while remaininghands-on.\n\nDeep experience with multi-protocol IoT ecosystems (at least 3 of: Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN, Cellular).\n\nStrong background in data pipeline design, data lakes, and ETL processes.\n\nStrong Python and hands-on experience with data integration frameworks.\n\nProven expertisebuilding end-to-end QA frameworks across firmware, mobile, web, and cloud.\n\nExperience with AWS or comparable cloud platforms for IoT data ingestion and storage.\n\nStrong automated-testingskills (unit, integration, end-to-end).\n\nExperience with Git, CI/CD, code review, and production deployment.\n\nClear communicatoracross hardware, firmware, app, and cloud teams.\n\nExperience withLinux.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience building cloud-connected IoT or device-management platforms.\n\nExperience with AWS IoT Core, IoT Jobs, Device Shadows, or fleet provisioning.\n\nExperience with firmware OTA updates and telemetry systems.\n\nExperience with time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB) or stream processing.\n\nExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools (AWS CDK, Terraform).\n\nFamiliarity with embedded systems and wireless communications.\n\nTrack recordlaunching products from alpha through production pilots.\n\nExperience in aerospace, satellite, industrial IoT, or mission-critical environments.\n\nBackground in security-focused systems and operational compliance.\n\nAdditional Requirements\nThis is a fast-paced, high-impact environment -
