E-Space is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Commercial Counsel to join our growing legal team. This role will primarily focus on reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, supporting our purchasing and procurement departments, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of contract law, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
This position will be located in Arlington, Texas and will report to the General Counsel.

Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret various commercial agreements, including vendor agreements, purchase orders, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other procurement-related contracts. Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and best practices.Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contractual obligations.
Provide legal guidance and support to the purchasing and procurement departments on all contractual matters.Develop and maintain standard contract templates and processes to streamline procurement activities.Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.Advise on legal issues related to sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain operations.
Review and analyze terms and conditions for various agreements and online platforms.Advise on the legal implications of terms and conditions and ensure alignment with company policies.Update and maintain internal documentation of terms and conditions.
Stay abreast of relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting commercial contracts and procurement.Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and training.Identify and assess potential legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and sales teams.Provide clear and concise legal advice to internal clients.Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
What you bring to this role:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of a state bar.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract law, preferably in an in-house or law firm setting.
- Strong understanding of commercial contract law, including UCC and related principles.
- Experience with procurement and supply chain legal issues is highly desirable.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills (both written and verbal).Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical legal advice.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in legal research and contract management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong business acumen.
