Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will take ownership of designs from concept through to production, driving technical excellence across the full development lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement digital hardware including high-speed interfaces, signal processing, and switching/routing architectures.\nDevelop, simulate, and verify RTL designs, ensuring correctness, timing closure, and design robustness.\nDefine and review hardware architectures, contributing to system-level design decisions and trade-off analyses.\nProduce and review detailed design documentation, including specifications, schematics, and test plans.\nPerform functional simulation, static timing analysis, and synthesis targeting FPGAs and/or ASICs.\nCollaborate with firmware, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless hardware/software integration.\nSupport hardware verification and validation activities, including lab bring-up and debugging.\nContribute to design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement of engineering processes\nCollaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless design for high volume manufacture and test\nWork with component manufacturers and distributors to ensure longevity of manufacture.\nExperience with Altium Designer\nDesign principles for operation in harsh environments.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nDegree (BEng/MEng/BSc or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline\nSolid understanding of digital design fundamentals including clocking strategies, CDC (clock domain crossing), reset architecture, and timing constraints.\nExperience with FPGA design flows using tools such as Vivado, Quartus, or equivalent.\nFamiliarity with simulation tools such as ModelSim, Questa, or similar.\n Experience writing and executing hardware test plans and debug at the board level using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, protocol analysers).\nStrong understanding of high-speed PCB design considerations and signal integrity principles.\nDesirable Skills\nFive or more years experience with high speed digital design.\nExperience with Altium Designer\nExperience with Hyperlynx\nAccelerated life testing\nAdditional Requirements\nThis is a fast-paced, high-impact environment -
