You will work closely with software developers, product engineers, release engineers to improve build reliability, release velocity, system stability, and operational excellence across global development environments.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain reliable build, packaging, and release automation for ArcGIS Enterprise\nAutomate software delivery, infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and environment lifecycle operations\nDevelop automation using Python, PowerShell, Shell, or other scripting languages\nManage build artifacts, dependencies, versioning, configuration, and release metadata across development and delivery pipelines\nCollaborate with development and QA teams to improve application testability, build performance, and release readiness\nMonitor pipeline health, infrastructure stability, system performance, and deployment outcomes\nInvestigate and resolve build, deployment, infrastructure, and environment-related issues\nCommunicate effectively with distributed teams and help drive alignment across engineering, release, and IT organizations\nRequirements\n2+ years of experience in build engineering, DevOps, release engineering, system administration, or a related field\nExperience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and software delivery automation using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions\nProficiency with Python, PowerShell, Shell or another scripting language\nHands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technologies\nUnderstanding of software build, packaging, deployment, and release processes\nExperience troubleshooting complex software, infrastructure, and automation issues\nFundamental understanding of REST APIs, networking, and distributed systems\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field\nRecommended Qualifications\nExperience designing infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation\nExperience with configuration-management tools such as Ansible\nExperience with artifact repositories, package management, dependency management, or software supply-chain security\nExperience implementing observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, or centralized logging platforms\nExperience with at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud\nThe Company\nAt Esri, diversity is more than just a word on a map.
