This full-time, (INSERT SHIFT) position is based in (INSERT LOCATION), and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to a culture built on quality, integrity, and teamwork.\nThis position is responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, and run multiple types of machinery that produces superior products following Essential Cabinetry Group’s machining processes and procedures.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nSupport the C.A.R.E values of the organization. \nFollow plant safety and environmental policies and keep work areas clean and orderly. \nAssembling products and parts using basic hand tools. \nMeasure materials for conformance to blueprint specifications using a variety of measuring devices. \nFollowing production guidelines and specifications. \nFinalizing and packaging products for shipment or movements. \nOperate/monitor different machines within the cell during daily operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops with minimal assistance/supervision. \nConduct inventory and component inspections and/or audit to specification, as required. \nMaintain charts, logbooks, databases, as required. \nMeet daily production goals and understand cycle time requirements. \nStore products and materials. \nMeet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shift. \nReport on defective products or equipment. \nPerform and maintain accurate finished goods traceability. \nEscalate concerns for material, technical, and quality issues. \nPerforming other tasks as assigned. \nRequirements\nAbility to read measuring instruments required \nAbility to perform basic mathematical skills- required \nAbility to Read Blueprints, Schematics and Manuals preferred \nExperience in a manufacturing environment is a plus \nBasic knowledge of different manufacturing machines \nAbility to Multitask \nFocused on Teamwork \nDetail Oriented \nProblem solving skills \nWorking Relationship\nCommunication is required across all levels of the organization- executive team, other functional leaders, subordinates and production floor workers. The Machine Operator works under the immediate supervision of the Department Supervisor.\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to lift/move in excess of 50 lbs. at a time\nStand, walk, stoop, and perform motions for an extended period\nPPE\nSafety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes at all times while on the production floor\nSafety\nThis position expects to adhere to all safety rules to include the use of all require protective personal equipment (PPE).
