Discover more by following us on LinkedIn!\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nGENERAL FUNCTION\nThe Financial Analyst will be responsible for the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, month-end closing entries, cash flow forecasts, implementation of internal controls and ad hoc requests related to accounting projects. This role will participate in the finalization of year-end closing, reporting and support of the financial year and audit.\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nParticipate in month-end and year end closing process, including inter-company balance management and analysis of variances\nOversee, conduct and follow-up on analyses of monthly results and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.\nEnsure the integrity of financial systems is maintained, ensure financial information is maintained up-to-date in a timely and precise manner, and recommend improvements to internal controls.\nOversee and carry out the preparation of reports required by the business unit and the corporate consolidation team.\nRecommend and participate in the implementation of improvement measures (this includes being a key participant in computer system troubleshooting, improvements and conversions)\nWork with external auditors to complete their audit by providing the required information\nMonitor and record financial transactions according to company policies, and provide guidance to other personnel\nEnsure compliance with accounting policies, procedures and Internal Controls\nProvide accounting support to company-owned locations and partner labs\nWork with government auditors when required\nParticipate in process improvements and special projects\nProvide daily assistance to the corporate controller and actively support all projects related to accounting functions and objectives \nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting\n1+ year(s) experience in Financial Analysis\nStrong modeling and financial analysis skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills and ease in communicating at all organizational levels\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nKnowledge of SAP and Hyperion/Essbase\nExperience in multi-national corporations\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.
