Discover more by following us on LinkedIn!\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nGENERAL FUNCTION\nThe Associate Technician will be responsible for set-up, operation, and basic maintenance of equipment within the assigned area, in surface or finish portions of lab production.\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform various tasks of area production machine functions at an acceptable level:\nInterpretation of Rx work ticket\nPerform production operations on specified equipment in accordance with established procedures\nAbility to troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and advise supervisor as to possible remedy\nSpecific tasks include but are not limited to:\nTool selection/replacement\nEquipment set up for daily production\nEquipment clean up at day’s end \nRun DAC equipment and observe machine for proper function.\nOccasionally sort and pack jobs for shipment.\nMaintain work area and common areas of the department in a neat, clean, and organized condition.\nUnderstand and follow all company and branch laboratory policies and procedures and assure compliance with all attendance & safety rules and regulations. Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and HIPAA protected information.\nWillingly assist others as necessary to keep work current, meet deadlines or maintain an even workload. Cooperate with other employees and demonstrate a good attitude. Perform an acceptable quantity and quality of work on time as required.\nProvide proper training, work direction, and technical guidance for less experienced employees. Attend in-house or company-sponsored training meetings when necessary.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nThis position requires exposure to one or more hazardous substances/chemicals which requires safety training. \nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.\nAbility to read, understand and carry out instructions (i.e. operating procedures, safety standards, labels).\nHigh attention to detail\nAbility to multi-task and adapt to a quickly changing environment.\nAbility to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds\nPay Range: 18.14 - 26.00\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.
