Discover more by following us on LinkedIn.\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nGENERAL FUNCTION\nThe Payments Supervisor leads the payments production team and oversees daily payment processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. The role monitors productivity and quality, develops remediation plans, coaches and develops staff, and fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration. The supervisor manages key payment governance processes, analyzes performance trends, supports audits, partners with leadership on process improvements, and provides clear updates to leadership.\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead the productivity, quality, and development of the payments production team while promoting accountability and collaboration.\nMonitor performance against standards; implement remediation plans when needed.\nPrepare recurring performance and risk reports for leadership.\nCoach and develop team members through training, feedback, and skill building.\nMaintain payment policies and desk procedures to support compliance and controls.\nAnalyze trends to identify efficiency and accuracy opportunities.\nOversee RTB activities including daily disbursements, ACH rejections, payment controls, payment inquiries, check/ACH tracers, and related processes.\nOwn key governance activities, including 1099 processing, prompt pay exception monitoring/reporting, and adherence to payment control requirements.\nSupport prefund reporting and coordination with Finance.\nProvide audit support, including responding to inquiries and supplying documentation.\nPartner with the Payments Manager to implement process and workflow improvements.\nCommunicate effectively with internal partners to research, resolve, and escalate issues.\nHandle escalations with professionalism, clarity, and urgency.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience\n3+ years of supervisory experience\nExperience with payment platforms, including SAP\nProficiency with Excel\nStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nSupervisory experience in payment production or financial operations\nKnowledge of 1099 reporting, prompt pay standards, and payment compliance\nExperience supporting audits or working within control frameworks\nHealthcare or managed vision care experience\nExperience with BI tools, report building, or query writing\nExperience contributing to process improvement initiatives\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.
