Discover more by following us on LinkedIn!\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nGENERAL FUNCTION\nThe Distribution Clerk (Mailroom) is responsible for the timely movement of materials in and out of the mailroom and for the timely pickup and delivery of orders and products.\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nOrganize daily activities to ensure the most efficient route and satisfy delivery requirements of customers.\nOpen and sort all incoming mail and orders according to established procedures.\nPackage completed work for shipment in a neat and professional-appearing manner, including informational and/or promotional materials.\nInitiate DVI invoice generating sequence, sort and route completed work by best carrier.\nMatch invoices and file as necessary.\nMaintain work area in a neat, clean, and organized condition.\nUnderstand and follow all company and manufacturer’s policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all attendance & safety rules and regulations. Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information.\nWillingly assist others as necessary to keep work current, meet deadlines or maintain an even workload. Cooperates with other coworkers and demonstrates a good attitude. Performs an acceptable quantity and quality of work on time as required.\nProvide proper training, work direction, and technical guidance for less experienced coworkers. Attends in-house or sponsored training meetings when necessary.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience\n2 years of experience working in a distribution/logistics environment\nGood reading, writing and verbal communication skills as well as limited knowledge of keyboard/CRT terminal use.\nAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds\nThis position requires a valid driver’s license, an insurable driving record and knowledge of the delivery area.\nPay Range: Starts at $17.25/hour (More with experience) + $1.00/hour shift diff.\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
