Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible.\nYour role\nWe are looking for a Business Controller to act as a strategic partner to our business units, driving performance and profitability through insightful financial analysis and active collaboration. The role will primarily center on financial planning, budgetary control, cost management, and performance analysis, ensuring the organization achieves its financial and operational objectives.\nThe ideal candidate will combine financial expertise and a commercial mindset, fostering collaboration with operational teams to align with financial objectives and long-term strategy.\nMain responsibilities\nBusiness Partnering & Strategic Challenge: Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing financial insights to support decision-making, collaborating with commercial teams to align business strategies with financial goals and market dynamics.\nFinancial Controlling & Analysis: Develop and monitor key financial metrics to assess business and identify areas for improvement, while overseeing the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial performance, including revenue, margins, and costs.\nBudgeting, Forecasting, and Planning: Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for assigned business units.\nSales Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales performance against targets, identifying variances and providing actionable insights.\nMargin Control: Monitor and analyze margins to ensure profitability targets are met, providing recommendations to optimize performance.\nMain requirements:\nEducational Background in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.\nProven experience (4 - 7 years) in Financial Controlling, Commercial Finance or a similar role.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.\nExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders constructively.\nSolid experience with Office tools.\nGood public speaking skills.\nInternational experiences are preferred.\nA commercial mindset with a strong focus on results and value creation.\nFluent in English, additional language is a plus.\nWhat’s in it for you\nIn EssilorLuxottica, you are not defined just by your job title.
