Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible.\nYour role\nWe are looking for an Industrial Vision Engineer to join the Industrial Inspection Italy R&D team in Agordo. The successful candidate will leverage their technical expertise to develop in-house vision applications for the industrial inspection of the main components of eyewear products: frames and lenses.\nThe candidate will work in a project-based environment alongside multidisciplinary technical teams covering all domains of industrial machinery. There will be continuous collaboration with R&D and engineering teams located around the world (Belgium and France in particular) to ensure global excellence in our deliverables.\nMain responsibilities:\nDeveloping application for industrial inspection of frames and lenses\nVision system design and prototyping, including hardware and optical setup definition (optics, lighting systems, and cameras)\nDeveloping and maintaining full-stack software tools for vision-based inspection applications\nDefinition of requirements and technical specifications related to human-machine interface (HMI) programming\nInstallation, testing, and commissioning of vision systems\nManagement of software development suppliers for industrial automation projects\nBuilding, together with your teammates, the future of industrial inspection in the eyewear industry\nTechnical support\nMain requirements:\nIndustrial inspection background, in particular in defect detection, geometric inspection, presence/absence of components, optical power inspection\nColor inspection experience is a plus\nYou love challenges and you take your responsibility seriously\nExperience in programming and software design for vision systems, with a git-based development workflow\nAdvanced knowledge of programming languages C ++ and Python, as well as in development environments such as Visual Studio.
