JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network admin to join our Global network team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with manufacturing networks.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

- Perform routine network maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure that the network is operating at an optimal level.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the network by implementing and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures.
- Monitor network usage and bandwidth to identify and address issues related to performance and capacity.
- Configure and maintain network devices, including firewalls, switches, routers, and access points.
- Implement and maintain network protocols and services, such as DHCP, DNS, and SNMP.
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team to develop and implement network policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with GNOC to ensure 24x365 support for the operations.
NETWORK OF INTERACTION:

INTERNAL : coordination with the local IT teams, managing integration projects accordingly with the Global network CoE
EXTERNAL : vendor coordination and order management
TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a network admin role, preferably in the manufactory.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and services, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience leading and managing projects related to network integration.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Fluent English, another additional European language is a plus.
- Flexibility to travel.
- Knowledge of Palo Alto platform is a plus.
