Ensures customers & patients are always delighted. Assists in the achievement of store success by managing key optical & lab processes (if applicable) & systems to exceptional results.\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nWhile working in Retail\nEnsure the LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed Customer Service\nProactive & solution driven, accurate execution & product knowledge\nAssists customers with selections, provides recommendations, assists sales associates\nServes as a responsible alternate store key holder\nUnder current & valid state Opticianry license performs the following: provide expertise & product knowledge on lens choices based on the patient’s vision needs & OD prescription, adjust and/or repair eyewear as needed, present & dispense eyewear, performs accurate digital measurements\nWhile working in Lab, if applicable\nCustom fits glasses & precisely place prescription in lenses\nWorks with associates to strengthen their knowledge, skill, & certification for foundational product & store processes related to lens and lab technology\nEnsures finished eyewear meets optical standards & customer requirements\nCreates a safe working environment for all, demonstrates safe work practices\nResponsible for basic operation, cleaning & ongoing maintenance of lab tools & systems\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nHS diploma/GED\nCurrent & valid state Opticianry license\nStrong optical & retail experience\nKnowledge of current optical theory & merchandise\nStrong communicator & listener\nStrong inter-personal skills\nStrong basic math skills\nSales skills\nProblem solving ability\nFamiliarity with cash register, computers & calculators\nLeadership & training experience\nEdging & mounting experience\nBasic optics knowledge & optical measurement experience\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nState licensure (if applicable) &/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states\nLensCrafters Final Eyewear Inspector Certification\nLensCrafters Quality, Fitting & Adjusting Program\nOptical machinery/instruments experience\nCustomer service experience\nAccuFit Digital Measurement System certification\nKnowledge of current store merchandise & lens options\nPay Range: 23.97 - 37.39\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.
