Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible!\nGeneral Function\nThe Logistics Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and continuous improvement of automated logistics systems within the Distribution Center. This position leads preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for automated equipment including conveyors, sortation systems, robotics, ASRS systems, automated packaging equipment, vision systems, PLC-controlled machinery, and associated infrastructure. The role ensures safe operation, maximizes equipment uptime, drives maintenance excellence, and supports operational productivity through data-driven maintenance strategies.\nMajor Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nCoordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for automated logistics systems based on operational needs, available resources, and equipment criticality.\n\nLead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.\n\nMonitor equipment performance utilizing CMMS, automation dashboards, and maintenance KPIs.\n\nTroubleshoot and support electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system failures.\n\nEnsure all automated equipment meets safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements.\n\nPerform and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.\n\nSupport PLC, HMI, VFD, sensor, scanner, and industrial network troubleshooting activities.\n\nCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT, and Continuous Improvement teams to optimize automation system performance.\n\nDevelop and implement reliability improvement and cost-saving initiatives.\n\nSupport commissioning, installation, and startup activities for new automation projects and equipment upgrades.\n\nManage contractors, system integrators, and OEM service providers while ensuring compliance with company safety standards\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.\n\n5+ years of maintenance experience in automated distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or material handling environments.\n\nMinimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.\n\nStrong knowledge of:\n\nPLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)\n\nHMI systems\n\nIndustrial automation controls\n\nVFDs and motor controls\n\nPneumatic and electrical systems\n\nConveyors and sortation systems\n\nOur Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitment\nWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
