Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible!\nYour role\nThe Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, import/export operations, customs clearance, and distribution within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and international markets. The role ensures compliance with group policies & Saudi regulations, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and products are delivered to customers safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.\nMain responsibilities\nLogistics Operations Management\nDevelop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business objectives.\nManage inbound and outbound transportation activities across KSA and GCC markets.\nOversee warehouse and distribution center operations.\nEnsure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.\nMonitor distribution center activities and coordinate with procurement, CIC, production, and business teams.\nOptimize transportation routes and warehouse utilization.\nCoordinate CAPA implementation resulting from audits, inspections, deviations, or customer complaints.\nEnsure all logistics activities are conducted according to approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nFleet Management\nManage company-owned fleet, including vehicle/Bike utilization, maintenance planning, registration, insurance, and licensing.\nEnsure compliance with driver qualification, training, and road safety requirements.\nMonitor fuel consumption, fleet productivity, and transportation costs.\nEnsure compliance with TGA requirements related to fleet operations and driver management.\nBudget & Cost Management\nDevelop and manage logistics operating budgets.\nMonitor transportation, warehousing, customs, and distribution costs.\nIdentify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service levels.\nSupport annual budgeting and forecasting processes.\nCustoms and Trade Compliance\nEnsure compliance group policies & Saudi customs regulations and import/export requirements in alignment with EMEA Trade Compliance Team.\nCoordinate customs clearance activities with brokers, freight forwarders, and government authorities.\nMaintain accurate shipping and trade documentation.\nMonitor changes in customs duties, trade agreements, and regulatory requirements\nRegulatory Compliance\nEnsure compliance with: Saudi Labor Law requirements, Saudi Customs regulations, Regulations issued by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), Transportation regulations issued by the Transport General Authority (TGA), Environmental, health, and safety regulations.\nIndustry-specific requirements\nEnsure full compliance with requirements issued by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regarding storage, transportation, distribution, importation, and traceability of pharmaceutical and healthcare products.\nMaintain compliance with Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSDP/GDP) across all warehousing and transportation activities.\nEnsure all warehouses, transport providers, and distribution partners maintain the required licenses and approvals.\nEnsure all product movements are recorded in SFDA-approved traceability and electronic tracking systems where applicable.\nVendor and Carrier Management\nIn collaboration with the procurement & sourcing department:\nSelect, evaluate, and manage transportation providers and logistics service partners.\nNegotiate contracts and service-level agreements.\nMonitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.\nTeam Leadership\nLead and develop logistics, warehouse, DC and transportation teams.\nEstablish performance objectives and conduct regular evaluations.\nPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nPerformance Management\nMonitor logistics KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.\nPrepare management reports and operational dashboards.\nDrive cost-reduction and process-improvement initiatives.\nMain requirements:\nStrong knowledge of Saudi logistics and transportation regulations.\nUnderstanding of customs clearance procedures and international trade compliance.\nFluency in English and Arabic is a must\nExperience with ERP systems (SAP) is a plus.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel and data analytics capabilities.\nStrong leadership and experience in people-management is required to succeed in the role\nExcellent communication skills.\nBudget management and cost-control expertise.\nContract negotiation and supplier management skills.\nStrong knowledge of SFDA regulations\nExperience managing SFDA audits and regulatory inspections.\nProject
