Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible!\nYOUR ROLE:\nThe Logistics System & Process Improvement Intern supports the management and continuous improvement of systems, digital tools, and operational processes related to frames and wearable products.\nWorking closely with Operations, Engineering, and System Key Users, the intern will gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations, WMS processes, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.\nThis role offers a unique opportunity to develop technical and analytical skills while contributing to operational excellence in a fast-paced logistics environment.\nThe position is designed for candidates who are eager to learn, proactive, data-driven, and interested in developing a career in logistics, operations, and supply chain systems.\nAREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:\nOperational Support & System Monitoring\nSupport daily warehouse operations by monitoring inbound, picking, and outbound activities through logistics systems. \nAssist in identifying and reporting system issues, process deviations, or data inconsistencies. \nCollaborate with operational teams to ensure correct use of WMS and RF devices. \nSupport shift handover activities by collecting and organizing operational information.\nData Analysis & Reporting\nExtract, consolidate, and analyze operational data using Excel and reporting tools. \nSupport KPI monitoring and performance tracking activities. \nAssist in preparing reports and dashboards to support operational decision-making. \nHelp maintain the accuracy of system parameters and master data.\nContinuous Improvement Projects\nContribute ideas for process simplification and efficiency improvements.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics processes and digital tools. \nSupport root cause analyses and problem-solving activities.\nLearning & Cross-Functional Collaboration\nLearn warehouse management systems, operational workflows, and automation technologies. \nParticipate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities. \nSupport documentation updates, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.\nMAIN REQUIREMENTS:\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Economics, Information Technology, or related fields.\nInterest in warehouse automation, digital transformation, and operational excellence methodologies\nGood analytical skills and willingness to work with data. \nBasic knowledge of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Pivot Tables and data analysis is a plus. \nKnowledge of WMS, ERP, or logistics systems is considered a plus, not a requirement. \nCuriosity, initiative, and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment. \nStrong communication and teamwork skills. \nProblem-solving mindset and attention to detail. \nPLUS:\nBasic knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or other data visualization tools. \nAcademic projects, thesis work, or previous internship experience related to logistics, operations, data analysis, or process improvement.\nLANGUAGES:\nFluency in English (both written and spoken);\nWhat’s in it for you\nIn EssilorLuxottica, you are not defined just by your job title.
