Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible.\nYour role\nWe are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who will play a key role in driving process performance, operational excellence and innovation across Sedico RX Operations.\nThe role is responsible for leading process improvement initiatives, supporting daily manufacturing operations and ensuring the consistent application of Group standards and Process Control Plans (PCPs). Working closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Central Teams, the successful candidate will contribute to process stability, productivity, quality and continuous improvement.\nMain responsibilities:\nEnsure Process Control Plans (PCP) are implemented and respected.\nManage and coach process technicians.\nSupport production and maintenance teams in troubleshooting and daily operations.\nLead and follow new process and pilot project with the support of central teams.\nLead process improvement projects based on production performance, process capability and customer returns.\nAnalyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.\nPromote local initiatives to align local standards to the group’s standards and practices.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration within Operations.\nParticipate in EMEA Technoclubs with peers from other labs to exchange local performance and best practices.\nMain requirements:\nBachelor/master’s degree in industrial engineering, chemical engineering or related field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments preferred in the ophthalmic lenses industry.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Kaizen methodology are considered a plus.\nPrevious team leadership or managerial experience.\nExperience working in fast-paced, cross-functional or international environments.\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, Power BI and Copilot.\nLanguages: English B2 or higher.
